Kilgore TX (3/8/10) by DarinShort.com. This Friday, March 12th the 2010 Lone Star Speedway racing season kicks off in Grand style, as the modifieds will be racing for one grand to win. The Modifieds will be racing as a part of a three-division show with the World of Outlaws Sprint Series and Factory Stocks.
The Modified feature will pay $100 to start, there is no entry fee and here is the complete payback:

2nd - $500
3rd - $400
4th - $300
5th - $250
6th - $200
7th - $175
8th - $150
9th - $125
10th – 20th $100 to start

Friday March 12 is the only scheduled 2010 appearance of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series at LSS. Names of the likes of Steve and Kraig Kinser, Danny Lasoski, Donny Schatz, Craig Dollansky, Joey Saldana, Jason Meyers and son of LSS track owners Sam Hafertepe Jr., amongst many others, will take part in a full night of qualifying, heats, dash and feature race competition.
Here is the breakdown of ticket and pit pass prices, and advance purchase discounts are now available:
- Pit Passes: Advance $33.00, Race Day $38.00.
- Reserved Grandstand Section: Advance $30.00, Race Day $35.00.
- General Grandstand Admission: Advance $25.00, Race Day $30.00.
- Kids 6-12: $15.00.
- 5 & Under: Free with Adult Admission.
