After a one week delay due to rain, the NMRA will start it's 53rd season of TQ midget racing here in the west. A 17 race schedule is on tap including dirt races at Perris, Bakersfield, Santa Maria, & pavement shows at Orange Show speedway. Over the years, many great drivers have come out of the TQ ranks such as Jay Drake, Jason Leffler, Rip Williams, Robby Flock, Tony Stewart & the list goes on. TQ midgets are still a great open wheel race car that can teach driving skills for young drivers & is affordable so that anyone that has a desire to go sideways can get involved & race with us. We look forward to bringing another competitive season to the fans & adding to the history of the NMRA in 2010. www.nmra.us
