Heats were ho hum as the track decide to run 2 6 car heats and 2 7 car heats with the top 4 making it to the A and the B lining up by qualfying time. B was done quickly. Track heavy and fast for the A. Henry stlaked Main for much of the 1st hapf of the race with Main running low and Henry running the cushion up top. Leaders were in lap traffic by lap 5. Henry got around Main as he was bottled up behind traffic running low. Main passed Henry the following lap in turn 1, but Henry returned the favor in turn 4. Henry the only serious contender to run the top of the track in both turns. Main stayed with Henry much of the time after being passed with Henry gaining a 5 car lead by the final lap.
Excellent A-Main. Henry was excited in his victory celebration and interview thanking the car owners. Henry is driving the samne car that Adam McCarthy won the 2006 360 Petaluma championship. Sorry for not having starting positions. Will try to write down next time. Best A-Main points race in some time. Looking forward to CCWSCS Petaluma visits as it could provide the highest car count of any tracks that participate. Quite a few rookies and young drivers who all did a good job holding lines. Only 2 yellows stopped the action in the A.
Weather was typical "bundle up" Petaluma chill.
