It has been long while since Fast Fred Rahmer has been to California. I have to say I am impressed and a new fan of his, on and off the track. The sliders tht he fought off were awesome to say the least, I know the 3 of us were on the edge of our seats and couldn't believe he didn't lift. On the 2 restarts at the start of the A main I felt that Myers had cut him down not once but twice going into turn one, I asked Fred about it after the races and he had nothing bad to say and said he would have done the same and Jason did what he had to do to win. What a class act...
I won't be there tonight as I will head just up the road to MRP's opener, but wish Fred luck and hope he makes it back for the Gold Cup.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

It sounds like you talked to the real Fred Rahmer. We're proud.

Since BK never got to race in PA , it would be cool for him to be Fred's guest in PA for maybe Speedweek so he could taste all of our tracks too.

Quality post there, Throttle. I saw the title of the thread and figured it was going to be just another bash. And, yes, Rahmer is a great guy to talk to after the races. He is usually brutally honest about anything he is asked. For all the bashing Rahmer takes on here from people that never see him race, there are few drivers out there with more respect for drivers in other parts of the country or winners from past generations than Rahmer.

Glad Freddie could provide you with some entertainment in CA, some of the things I've seen him do behind the wheel the last few years are simply amazing.
Congrats to Fred & the #51 team on a couple great runs this weekend at a new track, especially that run to 3rd last night.
Now get back to PA so I can see you kick some a$$ next weekend!

Keep diggin' Fred!! People don't like how Fred races.........I'd hate to hear them after watching BK in PA!! Would love to see it though.
Smitty.....Fred won't be at the Port.
"The Outlaws have people out here that don’t know
anything about racing. I don’t understand how they
come up with some of the calls they do. It makes me
think that they just might be that stupid. It’s
scary." -Steve Kinser

Cant wait till Friday to see Rahmer in Texas again. Hopefully he can do better than the October race. If Rahmer is honest about anything who cares, he is human just like the rest of on this board. You wont see me bashing him at all or anyone who drives a sprint car cause they entertain me on the track, and yes I am jealous of them cause I would rather be on the track with them racing.

I only made it out last night but it was cool to see Fred Rahmer race out here. Fine 3rd place finish and a good interview afterwards.

Great to see Freddy running well so far from home and on a completely different type of track than anything he sees in PA.
BTW, thank you Mr Moderator for keeping this post positive on track! It's very much appreciated.

Wow..... 2nd. time on the track & he works his way from deep in the field to a Podium.
Great work by Rahmer & BK & the Hogs for dialing it in...... sounds like Fred was really happy with the setup.
As mentioned above, let's get BK out to PA with Fred doing the setup...... that way I can head east & buy BRR & beer Then I can also checkout how many on Beer Hill are Tdub fans

Freddy is about the classest sprint car driver I"ve ever met, and I"ve met a bunch. And this comes from a fan in Iowa. Good job!

I believe BK raced in central PA way back in the late 70s or early 80s when he tried the WoO tour.

I'd lay money on BK never racing in central PA.

I generally stay out of a comment like this and I hope nobody gets their undies in a bunch but I'd have to say that is safe money. Brent would probably openly admit at this point in his career that he's not interested in running the big halfs that are out in PA. HOWEVER - put him on anything they have out there 3/8ths and smaller he'll give em all a run for their money regardless of where the track is located.
