I never got the email, I have checked my spam, my old mail and my delated mail. Trust me people I am not a happy camper in regards to this email. My mother and father taught me to be respectful to others and if you have somthing to say be outfront with it.

Erich,

I want to start off by saying I apologize for not getting this to you within 24 hours. I have been hospitalized for the majority of the week with complications from hypotension and diabetes.

Moving forward; I have seen your posts on your facebook and on Oklahoma Tidbits. This is a simple response that I have no problem with you cut, copying and pasting until your heart is content.

On February 11, I sent you the following E-Mail:

"Erich,

At this time all the members of Save Fair Speedway would like to thank you for your efforts as we do appreciate everything you have done. However, since it appears our efforts are drawing to a close we have decided as a company to make major wholesale changes. The organization is going to go through a corporate restructuring and your services will no longer required in the new group. We feel as if your continued ties with the ORA have put us in a unique situation and you as well. On Wednesday, February 10th with a vote of 4-0, you were relieved from your position according to organizational bylaws. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

SFS"

Your lack of correspondence led the remaining members to believe you received this letter. I also still believe you received this message. The issue at-hand is simple. There was information and plans that were being somehow leaked to the general public. We believed these leaks to come from members within the ORA. While under no certain circumstances are we against the ORA, given their present state of discord and lack of unity we felt it was in our best interest to separate ourselves from their organization. We recognize their importance to the racing community and as they formulate and reorganize in coming months and year we look forward to having an open dialogue to returning racing to central Oklahoma.

It was your ties to the group that was a factor in the decision making process of voting you off the board. We also felt through your words and actions that sides and games were being played within our own group leading to distrust and causing our own lack of cohesion. When our company "Save Fair Speedway," was dissolved and reorganized the remaining members felt it our best interest to cut ties in a general manner and move forward.

Respectfully,

Peter Davis

My response to the email.

Peter,

Next time you want to get rid of someone make sure you do it in person. This is the mark of a coward doing it by email. You can not look at me in the face and do it, can you? What is that about. If you want to start to a promotion business in Central Oklahoma then you have loads to learn. Racers around here are not like racers in Wichita.

Trust me buddy you angered the wrong person. I have never told the ORA anything and I can swear on the bible about that. I remember John telling me at the signing party to chose my sides carefully. Which told me that the decision was made long before your so called email to me.

Erich

Yes David you are correct as, I have heard the same from others as well.

But this is how I feel about this craziness. But since this was posted on the other another thread I was told I was not excepted in there group anyway so to all involved KISS MY .................... Here it is again.

Well the best thing you can do Erich IMO is to move on like I did. I went to one meeting and that was all it took for me. These people have too many agendas like not being organized and lack of respect for the people that are trying to do the best that they can do to save the speedway.

After one in the group totally screwed things up at the Chili Bowl over wanting more free tickets and free motel rooms for people. After being promised a certain amount that was not good enough for some in the group they wanted more. So I did not blame Lanny, Emmit, and Debbie telling the group to forget it you get nothing at the Chili Bowl, after some people kept blowing up their phones complaining about the amount they were first promised when they were trying to get the 2010 Chili Bowl going. I blame the people that could not leave good enough alone. The Chili Bowl would have been a good venue for the efforts to save sfs with all of the national media coverage but greed got in the way for some IMO.

And having a rally and signing party after loosing in court, these functions should have been before the court session. And then they blame it on the weather for the response they got, if it would have been beautiful weather the out come would have been probably the same. Because most of us are not that stupid when it is over it is over.

And as far as things being leaked, what was there to leak people knew what was going on because there were too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. Always wanting to keep things top secret that was the biggest problem of all its kind of hard to get people involved and keep things going the write direction when people think there is something to hide.

The thought of Save Fair Speedway was a good idea but it was gone about the wrong way, with the wrong people making their self in charge of something that was over their head and living a dream.

And as far as some people starting a new group with the same agenda SCREW THAT!!!
