WIN LONE STAR WoO TICKETS at COWTOWN on MARCH 5-6!
Kilgore TX (3/4/10) by DarinShort.com. Five lucky Cowtown Speedway fans will each win a pair of tickets to the March 12 World of Outlaws Sprint Series event at Lone Star Speedway! Race fans attending this weekend’s Cowtown Midget Championships on March 5-6 will have five chances to win the tickets.
Two sets will be given away during Friday night’s USAC/SMRS Midget show at Cowtown, with another set being awarded to a lucky fan during ‘FAN FEST’ Saturday at Cowtown from Noon-1:15pm, and the remaining two sets will be awarded during the Saturday night championship events.
In addition, each set of tickets winner will also receive a Lone Star Speedway t-shirt!
And if you’re not lucky enough to win the WoO tickets, you can still purchase them online at the track website…and save $5 per ticket by doing so.
Take advantage of this fun promotion by attending this weekend’s Cowtown Midget Championships and you might be one of the lucky five that will win free tickets to next week’s World of Outlaws race!

From OKC to Kilgore is only 5 hours and 15 minutes, roughly the same distance from OKC to Little Rock, so there should be no excuse for you sprint car fans to go see the WoO sprint car series there. I would be there but that falls on my wifes birthday and I would be hung if I went. I would have went there that Friday night and then to Elk City to cover the NCRA show there the next night.
Just two weeks after that is the closest the WoO late models will get to Oklahoma. What better way to end 2010 later this year and look back and say "I got to see both the WoO sprint cars and WoO late models in one year at the same track." I will definately be there for that show and figure I will catch the WoO sprints at Fort Smith two weeks after that.
While ASCS puts on the best shows with the best format, it is always a treat to be able to see the best sprint car drivers in the world on the famed sprint car tour in history, the WoO.
