We almost snuck over to Tucson for the Copper on Dirt this weekend, found a last-minute deal; but opted to stay in town and get some work done.

Their forecast was one of those 'Sunny and 72, with a 0% chance of precip on Fri/Sat' all the way through the last time I checked on Friday.

Well, they got rained out Saturday night and are forced to run this afternoon.

All I can say is, I hope this weather trend straightens itself out soon; it makes it really stressful for teams, fans and the track workers.

Back to the latest for TMS weekend, little has changed for race weekend forecasts, let's see if they can get one right for once and we get a race in without weather drama interfering.

This is from NOAA:

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 49. North northwest wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 30. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. South wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 59.

*AND BTW, TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY FOR ONLINE ENTRY TO THIS EVENT*
