Is this the same team that Chad Hiller drove for in the WoO a few years back? They always had nice looking white & blue #5 cars.

Not much info on Handy Production Websites or on these message board regarding the Mini Gold Cup? Is Bill Sullivan still working for Handy or is he full time with the other guy he is doing PR for in stock cars? Seems like not much information is coming out on Silver Dollar, Placerville, GSC, & CW.
We know Gary Thomas is working for Watsonville and Tulare, he needs to be the PR guy for Handy also, his stuff usually comes out quickly and seems to be on top of all the racing/drivers/etc that is going on.
Just my opinion, GSC needs a good announcer to follow the series. When we were in Petaluma for their show, who ever that announcer is need to stick to their local show and not do GSC or CW. A good announcer adds a lot to the program, a very informative announcer that knows the history of racing and the drivers - past, present and upcoming. Its like going to the WoO show, they had the same guy at every race, and he updates you on each driver, tracks, where they are in pts, wins, etc.
With all the negative stuff on the Mini Gold Cup lately Handy needs to start pumping up the mini gold cup and get the fans craving racing!
See you at the WoO Tulare!

It seems that your wish may be coming true, quite possibly Bobby Gerould. Maybe?

Josh is Justin's little brother. Also, this is the team Chad Hillier drove for ( #5c ). Josh runs the #5D, he is gonna try and race the western half of the U.S., 410 stuff, ASCS Northwest, wherever whenever!

Bobby ALWAYS announces 'Stoga. In the last fifteen years, he's been "Mr. Knowledge" at EVERY race there. There truly is no one out West that is as good as he is. His "inside" knowledge is incredible. Gary Thomas is well on his way though. Troy Hennig is alright too. Speaking of announcers, one of my alltime favorites is Windy McDonald. His enthusiasm, excitement, and knowledge, just oozes out of his microphone!

Hey Sidewayz, There always has been before. The charge is usually 20-25 bucks i believe...........You should be able to find a spot to pitch somewhere..................I've never had a problem for the past 14-15 years............

If there is rain between now and then the Fairgrounds people might not allow tents to be set up on the lawns. The HRP website release states that camping spots are available at the fairgrounds.

There is a great new place to eat breakfast and lunch in downtown Chico. MOM`S is at 2nd and Salem St. They are open from 7am to 3 pm. The place is owned by the same people that own Madison Bear Garden across the street. Very good food.

My roomate raved about them but I haven't yet been able to give them a test drive. According to her they have food that rivals the Roost (closest to the speedway on Park) and scenery (waitresses) that rival Morning Thunder. That presents the possibility of a potent combo :-).

Tent camping is available and you have to ask for Pat Ponzo and tell him what you need. He said the price is $25.00 per night.
