Danny Schatz has told the RRVS to take a hike!! Sad news for us up north. One of the best race tracks in the county and it will sit idle this summer. We had alot of fans up this way that were really looking forward to Danny running the place. The fair board needs to be replaced along with its manager!! You talk about a bunch of people with their heads up their a$$!! Just a very sad day for motorsports fans in North Dakota!!!

Its a fact, they've had thiefs get away with thousands and thousands, maybe tens of thousands of dollars in the past, maybe a heck of a lot more----they fire people but can never prove anything because of the loose way the place has always been run. They even give severence to the crooks. Paying rock and country bands with cash, paying vendors with cash, one or two people counting and depositing tons of cash, absolutely terrible internal controls which I'm sure have had auditors cringe. Really sad, between the tri-cities of Fargo, West Fargo, and Moorhead, you have 175,000 people, maybe 225,000 within ten miles and this is what happens???

Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

There was talk early on about shortening the race track. Did the dirt work happen? Is the track a 3/8 or still a 1/2? Just curious...

No. He was waiting until spring to start, and get everything locked in. Just never happened.

Anyone know what the actual story on this is? I thought it was a done deal.

The fair board in Fargo has been doing this kind of thing for decades. I remember Ernie Brookins in the 70's saying how the fair board wants everything to go their way, and don't want to work with others. Shysters, all of them. Too bad that the best race track in the upper Midwest will sit this year. Sure had its heyday though. It will be missed...........
