According to the results on the NASCAR website, Dave actually led a lap and picked up 5 extra points. I hope that Dave and the team got some camera time for their effort.

He ran it until he was about out of gas. He got some exposure by leading some laps and the commentators mentioned that the team needed some help from sponsors ect...
Maybe it'll lead to them getting some help. Who knows???...
