A sprint car clearing the safety fence and landing in the crowd. Unfortunately this is just what happened in New Zealand this weekend resulting in the death of a young speedway fan.

Unfortunately, as a newspaper we have to cover the good with the bad. The stories are in Sprintcar Daily

Thoughts and prayers with the 13 year old boy's family.

"There was pandemonium in the officials' box as the car went flying past the second-floor windows" ...Insane.

Oh, how terrible.

Sometimes I wonder how it doesn't happen more often though.

Very sad to hear, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of those involved.

We must remember that the driver of the car is suffering also.
