I was at this race. Remember locals talking about how fast Kinser got that car going. Steve got lapped in the feature and pulled it in, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. Talk to Steve at the SEMA show in Vegas about non-wing racing, and he said running Ascot "scared" him with a grin. Said when the car got on that right rear going in the corner, he didn't know how far she was going. Thanks for sharing the video.

I was at that race too... Thanks for the video... and I will bt if they used that tank Ripper had they could make 40 laps at Knoxville... The good ole days of Ascot and Manzanita... some really great races I seen at both... Kevin Olson winning Turkey Night being my favorite of all time.. McSpadden winning a day midget race @ Ascot in a Chevy 2 and Stan Fox winning an October race rank 2nd and 3rd.. I just dont think racing will ever be what it was back in the day. The shows they had at Ascot were always great... BTW, I still to this day even after watching that video ...think Ripper won that race...
and does anyone know where that 29 was from...was it from Fresno??

The feature is coming soon. If you know who won, please keep it to yourself since the others may not know. It wasn't the Ripper
Keeps it a fresh race to the rest of us. thanks
