TMS Pit Parking Going Fast; Fan Prizes Offered At Cowtown Event
Ft. Worth TX (2/2/10) by DarinShort.com. The Texas World Dirt Track Championship at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) is just three short weeks away, and fans attending the upcoming Cowtown Midget Championships on February 12-13 will have a chance to win great prizes from TMS.
Included in the prize giveaways at Cowtown's event will be TMS apparel and related merchandise, plus TMS event tickets.
TMS Dirt Track GM Cameron Branch comments "We have a strong contingent of Cowtown Speedway drivers and fans that support our events at Texas Motor Speedway, and we're thrilled to be a part of their great racing program as well. We're also looking forward to having everyone back at TMS for the Texas World Dirt Track Championship on February 25-27."
At the time of this writing, of the 140 reserved, paved pit spaces at TMS, there are less than 20 remaining. Once those are gone, all remaining pit parking spaces will be assigned when teams arrive at the track on race weekend.
As a bonus, TMS is adding two provisional starters to each of the Modified and Limited Modified championship feature races. However, to be eligible, you must be preregistered. The preregistration deadline for this event is February 12.

I only see the online entries, but I think it's right in line with last year's numbers at this point. Will definitely be a full pit area. There's only 10 reserved spaces left as of this morning.
