If you haven't heard on the SCRAFan board, USAC is going to be sanctioning the West Coast Sprints series that Chris Kearns from Santa Maria Speedway has been running throughout Central California over the past few seasons. You can read my story about it here.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I think the inventory of cars is there for this to be a pretty solid series, although it will be interesting to see over time if this cuts into the USAC Western Sprints if teams decide they would rather run dirt than pavement.
