Sponsers and raising money is the toughest thing. Without SFS OKC sponsers will dry up, I hope not but Sponsers like to be able to go watch their car race.
1. Look around where your going to race.
2. A sponser has to be a fan of racing and the class you race in.
3. Keep a good lookin car and offer some shows at their buss.
4. Seeze any opportunity when approached by someone intrested. Let them tell you what they want and try to provide any and all request.
5. Represent yourself well look and act the part.
6. Send either weekly or monthly news letters to them and invite them out to watch. Taking someones money and then never hearing from you again will result in a one time sponsership.
7. No money to big or small, there is lots of room on that car so utilize every inch.
8. A Sponser wants to see thier car in the winner circle
If I would practice what I preach I probably would have more sponsers but the ones I have have been loyal for years. Sponsership in this economic time is going to be difficult and I wish you the best of luck.
