The promotor need to pay out some of the money they are collecting at the gates. Get the pay outs up where they should be. These guys are wanting people to run for the same money they ran for 20 years ago. This is in all class not just midgets it is just worse in midget pay outs it always has been.

Size does matter! Belleville is a motor track. That fact alone kept many of the teams away in the past, and probably still does. Payout is an issue as well. Pay the money and they will come. Belleville has enough tradition, but there is alot going on at that time of year. There has to be something to attract the teams - money and a chance to win.

$10,000 to win is pretty good for midgets these days but the problem is Belleville kills the engines.

You have to be a top team or have a top notch engine to compete for a win there. I say unsanction it

and use the money they pay for the All-Stars and put that into the midget purse and throw in some

modifieds.

Run the race at "Little Belleville." Midgets at the Belleville, IL (across from St. Louis) track are always super-exciting. If' you've witnessed this spectacle, you know what I am talking about....

Midgets on a half-mile are kinda boring.
