The ONLY major upgrade at the fair ground has been to the horse barns. The state fair is an event that they must do in order to get back in to the horse industry. And the race track is in the way of what they really want to do. They want to put in a convention center and that is where they want it to go. Don't kid yourself there are those within the city government that will make tons of money on this thing. That is why they want the track to go away.
But it is not gone yet!!!!

FOX 25 was at the racers auction/swap meet today at the Fair Grounds and they will have something on the news between 9 and 10 tonight..

The camera guy just showed up and came to our booth. They did an interview with me but in the end this was probably the best way of doing it. Fox 25 has a link to the savefairspeedway.com website on their site.
