Wonder how many 360 teams are interested in this deal at Beaver Dam. Can't imagine the MSA are to thrilled with this movement. Anyone think 24 MSA teams will sign up?

From the Beaver Dam website:

Beaver Dam Raceway is announcing a major change in the proposed sprint car division for 2010. After meeting with the drivers interested in competing at Beaver Dam and getting approval from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, significant revisions have been made. These changes were made in response to feedback gathered from those competitors. The proposed 2010 sprint car division would utilize a car construction and motor rule package similar to those being used at Plymouth(PDTRA), Manitowoc(EWSCA), and MSA. This rule package includes a 360 cubic inch engine size limit. This exciting new development is being well received by potential race teams. As was previously stated the field will be limited to the first 24 drivers who sign up with the Raceway. Goodyear tires will be mandatory on both rear drive tires. Goodyear is establishing a bonus performance fund for those participating drivers.

An informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 26 to answer any questions competitors may have. This meeting will be at Carolina's Legion Bar at 130 North State Street in Waupun AT 7:00PM. Driver sign up forms will be available. If you cannot attend the meeting, but have questions or wish to sign up contact General Manager Carolyn Mueller at 920-382-7858 or Jerry Priesgen at 920-382-4515.
