David or Chris,

When are the 2010 Oklahoma Mod. rules going to be posted on the NCRA web site. Its just a few weeks until the opener and I still haven't seen anything in writing on what we can or can't run or what we can or can't do to our tires. I don't want to talk to someone from the NCRA about what we can do or can't over the phone and then get to the race and something has changed or someone didn't know what the rules so they get to slide because they didn't know.

I would also like to talk to someone at Cowtown about parking. There are 4 or 5 of us that would like to park together but I can't get an answer or a return call from eithe of the numbers on the web site.

Can you help with some of this?

Haven't talked with Chris in a couple of days but last time we did talk he was going to go over all the rules in the divisions that he oversees and make sure they are corrected on the NCRA website. I am not a tech person, just a wanna be PR and contingency guy, so I apologize I can't answer those type questions.

I am not sure why they aren't answering their phones but please privately email me your phone number and I will email/call them myself and tell them our guys have some questions about the parking deal.

Who else is coming down with you?

Hope this answers your questions and concerns.

Talked to C Ray Hall today and he informed the only change on the Oklahoma modified division will be NO 500's allowed. Everything else will remain the same. C Ray has the rules for all five divisions on his desk and is going to go through all of them on Monday and make sure they are up and on the website www.ncraracing.org before the banquet if possible.

Also, he assured me the schedules for all five divisions will be released on Monday or Tuesday of next week, as will my press releases on such.

Hope this answers your questions for now.

From the NCRA website 2010 Rules for Oklahoma Modifided Series, looks like more changes than just 500's, guess this means no grooving or AR KK-704's!

"11.TIRES AND WHEELS: Hoosier G-60 stamped or non-stamped. Must run four Hoosiers to be eligible for points"

What about the spoiler rule? NCRA says 6" the cowtown web says 5" for this race, so which one is it?

And what about the weight rule? NCRA says 2400, cowtown says 2350???

Hey Beetle - Please call Chris Smith with any questions you may have regarding the 2010 NCRA rules. He will be more than happy to answer any question you may have. In the tire rule it was inadvertently left out that you can also run the American Racer KK704's. Points will only be awarded for running the Hoosier G-60, which is the same as it was last year.

As for the spoiler rule - if you normally run Cowtown you will have to run a 5" spolier. The promoter at Cowtown is allowing all NCRA drivers to keep their 6" spolier and run them at his shows.

Again, any questions or concerns about NCRA should be directed to Chris Smith at 918-635-6200. That way you will be able to get the correct respose for all NCRA related questions.

Thanks;

Jane Burt
