Did Terry McCarl and his crew chief go seperate ways? Heard through the grapevine they did. I hope it is just a rumor.

yep, they did part ways. do not know the details on the situation. wish them both the best of luck the rest of the year!

I heard he quit to take the head coaching job for the Hawkeye basketball team since nobody else wanted the job.

he did apply for the job, but when Iowa found out he was an illegal immigrant they had to dismiss his application!

thats fucked up. steve is cool as hell. good luck to both of them.

Kemenah's (clever at set ups and reading changing tracks) brother (Brian??) might be looking for a WoO gig with Chad done on the road. Those two might be a potent combo.

Yea Brian would be the ultimate urgrade to a crew chief..Saldana would be doing some serious crying if Briand and Terry hooked up..Man that would be a sweet team...

If T-Mac was to hire Brian Kemenah it would last about as long as the fuse on Terry's temper!!! Terry should hire Dr. Phil or better yet a punching bag.  I've seen the screaming fits that he had last year at the Nationals, I don't know how his crew made it through that week. I noticed the only one that stuck around was Steve and he didn't make it to long into this season.

Well 72fan since you seem to know so much,why don't you explain to everyone why you are such a JACKASS and are Jealous of Terry McCarl and his decisions to get rid of problems surrounding his team? Better yet just take a big bite of that SHUT UP sandwich and sit back down in your high chair..

Now Then.. Brian Kemenah would be the best Crew Chief TMAC would ever have the privilidge of working with,and I would personally be intrested to see how well Brian would do in a long season with the Outlaw Tour..He certainly knows whats going on and TMAC obviously knows how to drive a car,Thats why all you have to do is mention his name,and people start all the complaining and whining like mentioned before Joey Saldana,For someone who wins a lot he sure does cry a lot..but thats besides the point..Yea it would be a dominating team if those two ever hooked up and hit the trail..Would be fun to watch,then that would have all the pre schoolers like "72fan" a legitimate reason to whine..Come on Brian..Hit the trail with TMAC...

The word "dominating" should never be mentioned in a thread that discusses T-mac

So what was the story behind the bust up of T-Mac and Steve?

razorzedge00- im not too sure it was terry who decided to 'get rid' of a problem, im pretty sure steve was the one who left. thats the worst part of racing, people who dont know the facts deciding to run their mouth.

Razorzedge, I do know what I've seen, and I've seen Terry scream at his crew like they were little kids, not just once but hundreds of times, hell I've even seen him yell at his own family members that worked on his cars over the years.

As far as Terry getting rid of the problems that surround him, how many good crew members do you have to chase off? it's not like theres mechanics lined up for a job like that. Hopefully one of these days that Terry will figure out the problem is his self and if he would change who he is he might be able to have a dominating team. I would think if someone like Steve was willing to work his but off and stick around as many years as he did you would do what ever it would take to keep him.

Sounds like the same person posting the same garbage over and over,thats fine..If you "guys" seem to have a careless attitude about TMAC and what goes on with him,what you doing on this thread? We'll see what happens,wait and see...I have a feeling Terry and his Crew will be better off now than they were before..I think I would have to scream at my crew or crew chief if common things were left undone,thats risking the man's safety,put yourself in his shoes..ah you better not,sounds like you are just another snot nosed momma's boy who never had a real job and would CRY at the mere direction of your supervisor..And I think if I had a crew chief that cried and walked off I would do whatever I could to have someone beat him like the coward he or she is.This is my last post about this garbage,so feel free to talk to yourself,Bottom line is this..TMAC would be DOMINANT if someone with the knowledge of Kemenah came along,TMAC hasn't had a good crew chief in a long time,if he has ever had one,So,one thing about it,Things can only get better..G'DAY

Yeah I'm sure we'll all see.  What I've seen is since captain hairspray ran his mouth at Tulare he's dropped like a rock in the standings.  And by the looks of it, it hasn't stopped yet.  Dominant.......come on can anyone really say Mccarl and that in the same sentence.  You could bring Karl off  the rack and it wouldn't help TSMACK.  And hey don't worry Terry fans the annual Nationals cryfest will still be held once again this August.
