Good stuff Brian! That first event shown was a CRA race in 1979 @ El Centro, California. Great event! Mike Sweeney won it. Had Leland McSpadden, Ron Shuman (who's shown flipping the Stanton #75), Jimmy Boyd, Rick Goudy, Jimmy Oskie, Dean Thompson, Buster Venard and Johnny Anderson in the race among others. I was there that day and it was awesome to see that race with the fair in the background. Damn I miss those days. Thanks for sharing Brian!

wow thats an awesome video.
not sure about the music. When announced who would be playing the Super Bowl this year - I think the entire country said "WHO?" - although some said this with excitement - i think most just thought what the hell is it gonna take to get some boobies back at the super bowl? Even if we dont see them - just to know they are there lol.
but thats neither here nor there lol. that is an excellent video. what year is it from?

Nobody is ever sure about the music. Just as I am not sure about "Slipnot" or Lady Gaga in a racing video. I like boobies.............like em alot.................but I don't like them next to race cars, unless the race car is ugly. Works kinda like ketchup don't it?
1979 is my guess, and the music that you hear is from 1970-71

lmao. excellent.
although I can't stand Slipnot - and Lady Gaga......well, somethings not right with that chick. starting with - she may not even be a chic.
I just would like to see Beyonce shake her moneymaker for a halftime show, truth be told lol.
As far as boobies next to race cars - I don't know how it could go wrong. Well - I shouldn;t say that. Boobs next to even an ugly sprint car would be great. But a combination of ugly boobs next to one of them buzz saws - well, that could do potential long term damage lol. I remember a music video someone put on the national forum a few years back - the song was the lamest thing you'd ever hear - but there was a hot lady dancing and washing a sprint car - as well as a few racin' clips - and it miraculously made the video much better. I mean - the song was terrible. but the chic washing the sprint car was fly!
funny response tho. One of coolest things I liked was Bud Johnson's wing a few years back - more than a few fellas probably searched that thing for a nipple........it was great!

btw is it stupid of me to ask what track that is?
I mean, in 79 I was just an aspiring Olympic Swimmer in a testicular swimming pool - I didn't win the 100 meter butterfly til 82.......

Daytime one looked like El Centro with the CRA, nighttime one looked like the Indy dirt Mile with USAC in 1980.
By the way, that #11 in these videos is none other than Gary Bettenhausen in the Terre Haute First National Bank sprinter.
