I found this at www.ibracn.com. It would be a shame to not have Danny racing the Chili Bowl.....
LOYET STILL NEEDS PAYED - (1-11-10 @ 10:45 pm) - RUMOR - The hot rumor going around the pits at the Chili Bowl during practice day is that Brad Loyet is still waiting for his pay check for winning both nights of the Bull Ring midget nationals in late December. Word is that Brad still has not received his $17,000 for sweeping the midget races inside Kansas City's Kemper Arena. The rumor is that if he does not receive payment by tomorrow (Tuesday) it may cost Danny Lasoski his seat in one of the Loyet Motorsports midgets for the Chili Bowl. Lasoski was one of the promoters for this event and there is a problem with teams getting paid for this event. Several gocart and micro midget teams have yet to get paid for racing the week prior to the Midget race. We will have to see what happens as Danny Lasoski is scheduled to race Tuesday night in a Loyet Motorsports midget.

Go to racin boys forum board, there is a thread that talks about bounced checks and promises to get paid, plus Lasoski says on thier radio show that he was only in charge of the pits,I think that is his scapegoat.Thread is in either dirt racing or sprints and midget catagories.

a real shame the racers get screwed...the video from the event looked like empty stands with only a handful of fans...but plenty of exhaust hanging in the air.

From the kart side of that event, there seems to be several unhappy people. Keep in mind that these kart teams are mostly family owned and are driven by the kids, some as young as 5yrs old, that haven't yet recieved their money/awards.

Wonder what Lucas Cattle (major sponsor) thinks of all this? Looks like they only had about 1500 people on saturday night and less on friday night. Sad situation for all involved. Guess I can take the 2010 event off my calendar?

Gathering more info....I have learned that almost no midget drivers have been paid for their saturday race. I'm hearing that Lasoski's name is used for promotional purposes and he did work the event but that he had no financial risk in the event. That is falling on Scott Pennington. (co-promoter).

Lasoski just took the green flag on Tuesday night Chili Bowl. Obviously this information is bogus or there has been a check cut to Loyet...Which is it IBRACN?

Your right. I see the promoter adding a lot classes each night to make a huge back gate, or maybe I see a promoter letting his support classes run in front of the biggest crowd of the season for the last race of the year.
BTW. I hope all of the Kemper guys get paid. So, this thread tanget will stop.

Speedway Motors facebook page is stating that he has been let go effective tonight and I received a text stating my source talked to Brad Loyet's mother and she said he is gone....and the nameplate is off of the car.

Word is that the Lasoski nameplate is on the roof of the hauler ... thrown there by Loyet's dad and he said it can blow off on the highway .... just what I heard ... personally, I was surprised he was allowed to run the car Tues night ...

They deleted it before the races were over last night. Speedway Motors don't like negative pub. of any sorts so I'm sure their facebook guy was told to take it down.

Tulsa, OK - Loyet Motorsports has released Danny Lasoski from his driving duties at the 2010 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.
The decision to relieve Lasoski comes as a response to the financial situation stemming from the Bull Ring Midget Nationals at Kemper Arena in Kansas City. Lasoski and Scott Pennington were promoters of the December 18-19 event.
Loyet Motorsports feels they have an obligation to show support to the other owners and drivers who participated in that event. “We hold no ill-will to Danny, but felt that it was best for both parties to go their separate ways at this time” said team owner Joe Loyet.
Lasoski competed in Tuesday night’s event for the team. There will be no replacement driver for the event.

Haters just keep on hatin but here is the FACTS strait from Scott Pennington. The man actually responsible for the money.
Just to clear things up yes there are some checks that did not clear the bank for the kart weekend on the first go around one of the deposits I made went into my other bussiness account instead of the racing account which was my banks mistake there were approx 20 checks that did not clear there is money in The bank to cover those checks some of the checks are going back through the second time and clearing, for those that have not cleared by after the first will be sent cashiers checks . Just so everyone knows what the story is Lasoski Speedway does not have anything to do with payout that was my resposibility and is my fault I will take full blame I will assure you this is a mess that i created and I will fix the problems with the payout I do talk with my bank and my accoutant everyday so we can get this matter resolved as soon as I can. For those that this has affected I apologize but this matter will get taken care of.
Thanks Scott
