Oh yea....it was great seeing Steve V again at Parametta and just as I figured, the PCR2 fan on this board was a no-show!!!!! Now you guys who know me & the Mrs. now that we would not turn down a chance to meet an infamous person such as that guy!!!!!!!! Oh well......Oh, if any of you guys have a personal "in"with Stewart or Schatz, tell them the little guy with the Chili bowl hat on says lets do the kabobs after the race.........They'll know who you're talkin about!!!!!!! It's f**ckin cold here in Ohio, let's hope for a heat wave in Oklahoma!!! To those who are headin that way, have a safe trip & we'll see ya Tues nite!! Good to hear you made it back little buddy ….

Sorry that we didn't keep Stubb's loyal followers up to speed with his adventures in Paradise, but it was simply impossible to allocate any time to a keyboard between drinks. Any time spent sober, was used getting "drunked up" again. Now there's an expression an Australian doesn't use too often.

By the way, I have written to Carlton United Breweries here in Sydney, and to Budweiser in the USA, to inform them that each should adjust their respective brewing quantities now that Stubb has returned to America.

11 days with Stubb can't possibly be summarised in any reasonable format, but perhaps the following words or sentences may help him remember some highlights of the trip. Those of you at the Chili Bowl might wish to ask him about any or all of the following ….

· If he wins the Chili Bowl Bean Bag competition again this year, I'm tipping that the trophy will go straight to the pool room back in Ohio.

· The serenity which we used to have at Hunter Place was shattered by Stubb attempting to get into the Man Chair in the pool on New Year's Eve.

· If he ever asks about the price of Jousting Sticks, overhead projectors, or half finished patios then tell him he's dreamin'.

· If you see a little caravan with "Jimmy's Kebabs" sign written on it appear at a race track near you very soon, then I'm sure Stubb will be in it dispensing the best kebabs in the world. The recipe will have been blatantly stolen from Jimmy in North Parramatta. I'm sure Tony Stewart will give him a prime position at Eldora, as along with Donny Schatz, they became huge fans of Jimmy's after the races.

· If you're not sure of how the game of cricket works, then ask Stubb for the finer details. Our itinerary always had Day 4 of the Sydney Test match on the schedule and having watched several lead up games on TV, Scotty became quite adept with the rules and tactics. As it happened, the 4th day saw one of Australia's finest ever victories when they came from behind to defeat Pakistan from an impossible position. It took 15 schooners of VB in the Members Bar to watch it unfold, but the effort was well worth it.

· Finally if you see Stubb in the pits anywhere at your track next summer then watch out, he'll have his marker pen at the ready to sign autographs. Perhaps his finest ever moment came in the pits at PCR on the final night of the $50k to win show when he was asked by three people to sign their T Shirts. And the midgets weren't even on the program!

PS If you haven't seen the classic Australian movie "The Castle" then get round to Stubb's house to watch it. He is now the proud owner of a copy of it.

Hey Stubby can't wait to hear the stories about Gail and Tony Stewart! Oh yeah I think the expression I was trying to come up with over the phone was F$%#ed up nine ways from Sunday haha!

BTW it's Michael Pickens and Brad Mosen that are running those V-8 powered midgets from NZ. Pickens is #88nz and Mosen is #19nz.

Glad AU was a fun trip for ya. See ya in Tulsa man.....

Wish I had been thinking ahead of time as USAC had a killer sale, and their 50th anniversary book was selling for $25.00 Wish I had sent a copy over with Stubb and the Mrs...

I wish you had thought of it too. I had someone on a couple of nights who would have loved to have signed it for me!!

By the way Tony told me that that the USAC decal on the Lexus has been superseded by a new one?

Gday stubb glad to hear you n the mrs made it home safe and well, haveing considered myself a speedway fan for many years and never hearing about this site is a bit embarrasing to say the least.Go ing to the parramatta city raceway international season as i do every christmas Tony Stewart and Donny Shatz were the biggest names to appear at PCR for many years, that was until i ran into this 4 foot 2inch yank that i now know as STUBB!!!! Although very very small in stature you were bloody huge in laughs and entertainment value,i dont think iv ever enjoyed a night at the skids as much as i did those few nights at pcr.Apart fome meeting you n the mrs(as you say)the highlight for me was getting my younger brother to meet Tony Stewart and Donny Shatz, not much has been said about it but the line up for Tony n Shatz,s autographs after the meetings were huge,so to walk on the track at pcr and catch both tony n donny then get them to come outside the pits meet and have photos taken with my little brother meant the world to him,but if you ask him getting the BUD LIGHT shirt from stubb was the best.On a seriouse note but mate you really need to have a good look at yaself those bloody budweiser shorts(or jeans)you had on the last night of the 50k night were a disgrace lol.So from phill, nutts and agro(geoff) it was a pleasuse to have met you and we all hope you have a ball at the chiile bowl waerin your sunshine coast harly, tricorp racin and roobie farr t shirts... AGRO??? Geez Geoff. I've been sitting in the same row as you for years and I didn't think you'd pick a name like that!!

Just to clarify a little for others, Geoff's younger brother Phillip is incapacitated and unable to get access to the pits. Upon hearing that, Stewart and Schatz simply strode out into the public area and went to where Phill was able to get to. A great gesture indeed.

And as for those Budweiser shorts .... at least you didn't have to put up with his lab coat like we did 5 years ago.

Well speaking of names OSCAR didnt jump right out n grab me as your name pete!!!! I thought THE PROFFESSOR OR MR SPEEDWAY would suite you better, the name AGRO was from my younger years when i was a bit aggressive lol as appossed to now!!! I thought what tony and donny did was a

very good gesture, what other sport in the world would two of the best exponenst in there field would they agree to do such a thing,as oscar explained my brother phill is incompasitated and travelled over 600klms or about 350miles to see these two legends along with the runner up of the australian micro sprint championship(brett) and the legendary(even though he didnt no his status)STUBB,what tony and donny did may seem insugnivicant but to my brother it meant the world!!As for the shorts id love a pair because iv got a garden gnome that they would fit perfectly, and i dont even want to no about the lab caot.Just goes to show that speedway folk are the same no matter what part of the world they come from as long as the beer(or bourbon)is cold and the raceing is good we all get along.

VB? They call that crap Visitor's Beer for a reason. If Stubb was drinking Carlton he has good taste. Almost went to Paramatta after everything got moved two days but we had too much going on in Melbourne. At least I got to see Steve take it away from Donny last year in what had to be some of the best racing I've ever seen.

Hey Stubb , It was great to meet you and your lovely Wife at TPCR over the couple of week period you guys were here, up the back of the main straight grand stand was the spot we converged for a few Beers or Bourbons, and some shirt swappin too, lmao.....how does your mates over there Stubb Like the Tricorp #54 Shirt anyways?? Smile

Hearing storeys of yourself and oscar dinning within stones throw of Tony and Donny at Jimmy's Kebabs was awsome, considering know once else knew who the hell they were, let alone how Donny likes his Kebabs!!.

Loved the Budweiser Shorts mate Smile , hope I can buy a pair when I come over with myself and the family.

Troy Little wins Australian Microsprint Title 2010

Agro's brother got his pic taken with Tony and Donny, that just made him fell as special as he really is...... "Good on ya Pip"

I'll tell Stubb to look this thread up when he gets a chance. Doubtful he has been near a puter since he arrived in Tulsa.

Think I heard them say that YZman and Bryan Clauson won the bean bag tournament. Stubb must have had an off day seeing as he was odds on favorite to win!
