I saw Luke Dillon's car is sponsored by Hogs Breath Cafe. So that's what Hogs Breath is----a chain of restaurants like our Outback Steak Houses. I was wondering what Hogs Breath was when they sponsored that big race. googled their site, interesting cartoon character as spokespeson. They have their hands full trying to win this one.
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Johnson, Mc Mahan And Brazier The Latest Classic Nominations Wednesday, 13 January 2010 by Premier Speedway |

|
Hugely talented Americans Paulo McMahan & Wayne Johnson along with Current Australian Champion Garry Brazier are the latest drivers to confirm their entries for the 2010 Standard Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.
Johnson who was a late call-up for Gary Wright in the hours before last years Classic will come better prepared for his 2010 stint at the wheel of the Brett Smith owned, Australian Scrap Battery Collection, Truck Master USA39 entry.
The inclusion of Johnson is a huge boost for the Classic as nomination numbers continue to swell, with a number of new entries hitting the desk of Premier Speedway General Manager David Mills earlier this morning.
McMahan is another driver with genuine Classic Title hopes as he prepares to campaign the Harry Droste owned USA 36 Cool Chassis with the backing of Laminex Industries, RA Steel, Warrnambool Glassworks and Hammonds Paints.
Garry Brazier is one driver in the field that needs no introduction to the Premier Speedway faithful. The 1993 Classic Champion is now a six time and defending Aussie Champ and his presence at the Classic certainly adds some spice to what is already a mouthwatering event.
Brazier will be back in the Family Owned J&J with the backing Capalaba Wreckers, Castrol, Racing Optics, KTM Motorbikes, Walkabout Lodge, EFX Designs, PWR Racing Products, Butler Built Seats and Design 500 Racewear.

Also joining the Classic entry list is a pair of West Aussie’s with Carl Dowling and Daryl Clayden also back for more Warrnambool action after having made the trip across the Nullabor for the recent Speedweek tournament.
Also fresh of a feature race win at the weekend, New South Welshman Darryl Campbell is back for the Heeley Motorsport’s outfit. Campbell impressed all and sundry with his professional outfit during the 2009 Classic and he will once again prove to be a popular figure during Classic week.
After stealing the show with his Danny Smith Tribute paint scheme in 2009 Mr. Speed Matthew Reed is back and set to take it up to all the Big Names of the Sprintcar world.
Reed will be once again be strapped into the Centastate Civil Contractors, Tri-Tech Lubricants V92 machine that has become a fixture at so many Victorian venues.
With word also coming through that at least two more American Drivers are set to nominate for the Classic, it is beginning to look a distinct possibility that more than 70 cars will greet the starter on January 24 for the first of two huge nights of Classic action with thanks to the Warrnambool Standard and APCO Warrnambool.

Huge field: Americans lead record charge for Classic honoursJARED LYNCH 19 Jan, 2010 04:00 AM A RECORD field of Americans heads the biggest entry list in the 38-year history of The Standard's Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.
A flurry of entries over the weekend has seen the number of drivers swell to 79.
It's great news for fans but the larger-than-expected field has prompted Premier Speedway Club officials to review several aspects of this weekend's race.
Premier Speedway general manager David Mills welcomed the added interest with 11 Americans to contest the event.
But he said the club had to re-think the racing format and layout of the pits.
"We are being careful not to tweak the program too much. The reason why we have attracted so many drivers is because of the program we offer," Mills said.
"It might mean two extra heats each night and racing a couple of extra mains, which would be good because it would increase the prizemoney payout for drivers."
The Classic support classes - wingless sprints for night one and super rods on night two - were yesterday being reviewed. Mills admitted the classes were not a key part of the event. He was keen to add variety to the program but a lack of pit space could be an issue.
"Support classes, while not 100 per cent necessary, do give spectators extra entertainment while points are being collated (for sprintcars).
"We are pretty close to finalising it (the program). I have spoken to our pit manager and he has a handle on it.
"It's not a case of a driver and crew rolling up and we tell them where to park. All that is pre-planned," he said. Details are expected to be finalised at a speedway board meeting tonight.
US superstar Jason Sides is the latest American to prepare for a trip Down Under, joining countrymen, six-time Classic winner Danny Smith, 2008 World of Outlaws rookie of the year Lucas Wolfe, Louisianna's Jason Johnson, Knoxville's Wayne Johnson, Iowa veteran Terry McCarl, Paul McMahan, of Nashville, Jerry Richert Jnr, last-start New Zealand Grand Prix winner Jonathan Allard, of California, Oklahoma regular Shane Stewart and January 1 World Series Sprintcars Warrnambool round winner Craig Dollansky.
The Americans will face competition from some experienced Australians, including six-time national champ Garry Brazier and multiple Classic winners Max Dumesny, Brooke Tatnell and Kerry Madsen.
Current Australian 360 sprintcar champion Ryan Jones, of South Australia, will make his Classic debut.

Who was the Twelth American Believe he was from California
It's Simply Classic Time At Sungold Stadium Tuesday, 19 January 2010 by Gavin White |

|
Classic week is finally here and the 38th running of the Warrnambool Standard Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic presented by APCO at Sungold Stadium is quickly approaching. Saturday and Sunday night’s event has everything in place to be simply one of the great weekends in Sprintcar racing with a myriad of events planned that will compliment some great Sprintcar racing
With over $110,000 in prizemoney on offer throughout the weekend, the 2010 Classic boasts the largest entry list seen in the 38-year history of the storied event with a massive 79 entries. Defending champion Brooke Tatnell will be joined by former winners Max Dumesny, Garry Brazier, Kerry Madsen and Indiana veteran Danny Smith while a record equalling 11 American’s will take part in this weekends event. This lofty number equals that set back in 2002 when the same number of 11 ‘Yanks’ competed. This year however there was simply an expired passport difference between the twelfth American participating in this weekend’s race!
While Avalon Raceway and Borderline Speedway prepare for their Wednesday and Friday night shows respectively as the traditional lead in races, Saturday morning’s Classic Breakfast has now become the official start of the Classic festivities. Once again Oval Express Magazine editor Jon Evans will host the breakfast with a rare chance to personally spend time with some of the sports greats. Booking’s are essential and for $25 per head the Flying Horse Bar and Brewery will provide you with a fully cooked breakfast.
The Classic Fan Appreciation Day is next on the agenda and has always been a popular part of the Classic experience. Since relocating to the Warrnambool Home Maker Center and receiving generous support from Jeremy Rae The Good Guys the morning has literally exploded. The Big Screens Australian Giant Screen will be on hand with footage of previous Classic’s while live interviews, giveaways, competitions and static displays provide plenty to see and do. Two day passes to the Classic will also be on sale in the morning while two night pit passes can also be purchased.
A majority of the drivers will be on hand to sign autographs with the event starting at 10am Saturday morning and concluding at midday. Incentive for the drivers to attend comes via Max Dumesny Motorsport and a selection of Hoosier right rear tires. Drivers simply have to sign in to be in the running for three, two or one right rear that is randomly drawn at the completion of the Fan Appreciation Day.
Night one of the Classic also doubles as the Australian/America Challenge and an opportunity for the field to time trial with the quickest qualifier capturing a cool $1,000 courtesy of Lucas Oil Products and Smiley’s Racing Products. Quick Time also adds their name to the prestigious Allan Pollard Memorial Shield that is a befitting award held in memory of a true gentleman.
The Premier Speedway Maintenance Committee will once again vote on the Best Presented Car and Crew and R&M Security will also support this award. The Maintenance Committee always present Sungold Stadium in immaculate condition and they will cast their watchful eye over the 79 entrants to see who is the ‘best presented’ with $1,000 on offer to the team lucky enough to be awarded the prize.
The Classic Hard Charger is backed by Squid Signs who recognised American Randy Hannagan’s stunning charge through the field last season with a design that Hannagan proudly raced as a ‘one off’ at the most recent Knoxville Nationals.
Sunday night’s RAAF Roulettes display from approximately 5:45pm will be a massive highlight of the weekend. A team of six aircraft will perform before the fans lucky enough to make their way to the venue while the appearance of the Roulettes is a massive coup for the club and will be sure to thrill even the most diehard Sprintcar fans!
For anyone still looking for more info on anything relating to the Classic including weather updates then you are encouraged to call the Race Info Hotline.
