If it has ascs heads.
not sure if the ascs gasket is still an option.

The Sooner region has aloud O.K.C. Super Sprints to run with them the last couple of years, not sure about 2010. Although you are at about a 80 HP or more disadvantage. Contact Dennis Crow with A.S.C.S. he can give you an answer.

According to the last communication I had with ASCS (which, admittedly, is a few years old), non-spec heads, with the ASCS restrictor intake gaskets, are allowed in regional competition only. According to the E-mail I received, their regional directors all know this, but it is not outlined in the rules section on the web page because they'd rather everyone just have the ASCS spec heads.

Tim is correct, with (1) exception.
Non-spec Chevrolet cylinder heads must still be (23) degree heads and must run an "un-altered" ASCS intake gasket. No raised runner heads allowed, and only at ASCS regional events, like Tim stated...CZ

2-3/16" injectors, or restrictors to reduce larger injectors to the 2 3-16". There is a tolerance as outlined in the rules, which can be viewed at ascsracing.com

The Sooner region aloud okc super sprint engine rules to run as per super sprint rules, but not a gasket motor. Heck, a few races we even had some 2brl.carb. motors racing with us.
No ASCS gasket or injector reducers were required, once again probably because its known to have much less H.P, as well as trying for a larger car count.
I'm guessing this decision was due to 25 to 30 s/sprints in the O.K.C. area, hoping to attract more cars.
Not sure how it would fly if you were able to win with a super sprint engine.
A few years ago you could run a gasket motor in the National but could'nt finish in the top 5.
Now all it takes is a $ 34k store bought engine to compete,
man i miss the early ASCS days when a home garage built engine was good enough,.. it's got a bit out of hand for a budget racer.
