I read on the Williams Grove site that his team was switching to xXx chassis for 2010. I am sure it had nothing to do with getting new Maxim frames on time. Heck, his team ran most of 2009 with a Maxim frame with over 100 races on it. They even crashed it several times during the season and kept running the same car. They probably just wanted to try something new. Love message board rumors!!!!!!

certain amount of cars? like what, 20? certain time frame? lets say ,ummm, two days? sounds logical to turn down the order possibly?, now, we are forgetting one portion of every buisnesses (well contractors) rule, how much will you pay for the product? Engine builders will do the same thing , dont bite the hand that feeds you and the deepest pockets always find the front of the line .JMO, something to keep in mind, im just saying, maybe the order wasnt realistic to achive, with prior commitments in progress?

RJ, it has been said you will be running regularly at K-ville, possibly some 410 races to boot.

Is this true?

As I am reading this statement, I am wondering just how much the racers, and/or fans really know about where the parts that are being used are made!!! I own & operate a small manufacturing facility in south Central Pa. I have had the opportunity through a sales rep to quote parts for a local( PA based) quick change rear manufacture. I quoted the job, at what is know to be rock bottom pricing ( cheapest these parts could be manufactured, using domestic material, machine these parts in Pa, not Mexico, china, japan...., & employing American machinist!!!) I found out a week later, this quick changer rear manufacture has decided to have those parts made over seas!!!!!!! China to be correct.

IF YOU ARE BUYING PARTS FROM A SPEED SHOP, DO THEY KNOW WHERE THOSE PARTS ARE MADE???????

unless you follow central pa sprint car racing and its obvious you dont, back to back lincoln speedway titles. most wins at lincoln speedway in 2009, won the kevin gobrecht memorial speedweek race and beat the all stars! noone expects you to care about it. just know that he is a hell of a race car driver, and is always finding that cushion up against the fence or up top wherever it is! if you ever seen him at lincoln speedway or wiliams grove, you know what i mean!

its apparent your knowledge of racing is summed up by your screen name! i wonder if your hair color is blonde??

and i think alot of drivers have got mad at lincoln and chose to run port over the years! they still come back. other than todd shaffer! you can use the porch thing all you want to, but smart people and true race car fans will say he can wheel a sprint car and has some nice wins to back it up!! it takes alot to race one of these things.

I wouldn't call it MAD, just unhappy with the track conditions like most other drivers were at that time.

Cody Darrah was MAD at Sean Michaels when he removed his spark plug wires.

Joe Darrah was MAD when he punched the ambulance driver at Lincoln a short time after Brian Montieth returned from his short tenure at Port Royal.

I am kind of curious.....How many Chinese support Lincoln Speedway on a any given night? How many Chinese support racing in Pennsylvania? How many Chinese support sprint car racing in any way?

I personally and not a huge fan of Chuck Merrill but I respect the man for the products he builds, and the business he runs employing American workers. The fact he does support the sport that feeds him, his family, and employees is something more American's better figure out pretty damn soon!
