Steve Sinclair press release:
The Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints 2010 schedule will be loaded with tradition and annual events. While the upper-Midwest's premier series will focus much of their attention on dates located on their familiar southeastern Wisconsin dirt, the series is proud to announce the dates of a pair of 2-day events that are now a big part of IRA tradition. Cedar Lake Speedway's 12th annual Masters event, featuring full shows each night of IRA Sprints and UMP SummerNational Late Models hits the highbanked 3/8 on June 18-19. This is IRA's 5th consecutive year as part of the Masters and the unique combination of IRA 410-winged Sprints and touring Late Models has proven to be fan favorite. IRA's newest 2-day tradition is the Dirt Nationals at Elko Speedway, and after the inaugural 2009 visit proved to be the biggest weekend in the track's history, the state of the art pavement facility will once again cover itself with dirt as IRA headlines July 23-24, again with complete shows both nights. While the IRA schedule will have a handful of travel combinations, they are certainly not forgetting their southeast Wisconsin roots as to date 18 shows within a 2 hour radius have all ready been penciled in with more likely to follow. The complete 30-plus event schedule should be ready for announcement by mid-January. Yet another record of cash awards above and beyond race day purses awaits series regulars in 2010, more announcements forthcoming.
