Here are somwe figure on what $$$ will be spent on each project:
Downtown Park...130 millon
Modern Transit...1.3 million
Convention Center...280 million
Sidewalk projects...10 million, this is on addition to the 68 million they got in 2007
Bike trails ...40 million
River Improvements...60 million
Fairgrond improvements ...60 million
Senior health and wellness center 50 million
Total............631.3 million DOLLARS
Arent you glad there is no homeless and the elderly that live on a fixed income have no problems. That crime is gone and all the gangs have moved away. That there is proper drainage for the city to accomidate the 3" of rain we get in 30 min. That security is so good that idiots dont bomb buildings.
Take care of these issue first before you build me a park that will only add to crime

And on channel 9 just now, an expose' of the handicap ramps being built on OKC and Tulsa side walks with stimulus dollars. The ramps are being built as we speak, and there is video of some of the ramps leading to dirt... no sidewalks. Other ramps go from the street about 3 or 4 feet and run in to 3,4, 5 foot tall dirt embankments. All this to bring the sidewalks up to ADA compliance with stimulus dollars. Most of the ramps do not lead to side walks because there aren't any in these locations. And no one will go to jail for this; someone somewhere will get a certificate in a plastic frame at some city or state luncheon somewhere extolling the virtues of an individual coming up with such a brilliant way to spend our tax dollars. After watching the video of these ramps, I'm absolutely numb. We are in deep, deep feces here.

Also dont forget that the OHP is having to cut costs to keep from laying off officers..and the bridges going to the new parks in maps may fall down at anytime..... but hey good ol cornett is getting rid of the speedway since its #1 concern for the city...
Cornett is a joke.... anytime time that guy talks I just scratch my head and say wow maybe I should run for mayor and I dont know anything..
