With track promoters worried about car counts do you think it would help if the promoters would reach out to other tracks that don't run weekly 410 shows or are within 200 miles or so and do run 410s and try to put a speed week together. or even get three tracks to run for points together that would run Fri, sat, and Sunday? So those local tracks could all pull good car counts and maybe pay a Lil more? i live in the midwest and would love to see more racing like they have in Pa. or the FAST series or even like the IRA. But i know that if you only pull 18 cars in on a sat. night that the promoters are never gonna pay more. i like the 360 stuff but i will always be a 410 guy and dont want to see the drivers leave 410's to run 360 because they pay more and have more races. What do you think would make this work?? THANKS!

Lots of things would help; compression rule, spec heads, tires that dont disappear after 25 laps, and loosen up the cars. Nobody seems to want to change anything so let them die a slow death if thats what they insist on doing. 360`s are doing just fine for me.

You mean like this: (although it is in regards to their stock car program)

From a Perris Auto Speedway press release dated 12/15

"Kazarian is pleased to be working closely with promoters Mike Gibson of the Victorville Auto Raceway, Chris Kearns of Santa Maria Speedway and Scott Schweitzer of the Bakersfield Speedway. Their combined efforts will eliminate schedule conflicts and bring rules in line. "I am very happy to be working with those guys," Kazarian said. "It will benefit all of us. We have standardized the Street Stock rules with Mike at Victorville and the Super Stocks (West Coast Street Stocks) with Chris at Santa Maria and Scott at Bakersfield. This will allow our cars to compete at their tracks and their cars to come down and compete at The PAS. And, we have arranged our schedules so we do not have conflicts. It should work out for everyone including drivers, fans and the racetracks. We are all very excited about this."

410s have been in a "slow" death since the late 80's according to all the limited spec goobers. It must be a really sloooooow death. The real answer to how we can help 410 racing is to get rid of about 3/4 of the rule book so fans might get excited again.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

As always this is something that would take unity and courtesy. Promoters are about themselves, plain and simple. Drivers and owners should dictate what happens and when, they are the show but again no one sticks together. Just like tire rules, if you don't like them get together and boycott. One week without racecars and the tracks would see the light. Problem is there are too many people who only care about themselves and not the health of sprint car racing.

Northern california has the GSC everyone knows that but maybe up the anti and get the track promoters to work togather and have a good speedweek could really benefit car counts i think that would benefit car owners to get to more races to make up these crazy costs of the motor's and just general spending on a car

But yet the 360's have more rules than the 410's? I say drop the 360's nationwide and the 410's will be back better than ever. Too many DIVISIONS DIVIDE the cars counts.
