Yep, saw him leave the joint over the turn 3 fence at a WoO show at Knoxville. Was in the back stretch stands that night sitting down by turn 3 and had a great view of it. I seem to remember he ran over Aaron Berryhill's read tire and that is what launched him. Don't remember the year but that was the last time Knoxville has had the back stretch stands open any time other than the Nationals.

I seen that too. Seems like it was a B feature and he just got sent to the back. All I seen of it was the tank and 2 wheels over the fence. Leaving the ballpark at Knoxville is a very scary thing for me to watch.

He got a "10" on style points for sure. Looked like a 747 taking off.

That brings back memories. We were on the backstretch too. Can't remember just why. I remember looking that way and seeing a car high in the air end over end. Went over where the fence was a little lower next to the scoreboard. Didn't touch a thing on the way out!

I was on the backstretch also that night, relatively new to sprintcars, maybe my first 10 races or so but I was in total amazement went he went over the fence. Seems like it was one of the Valvoline Classics??
