I agree to a certain extint, the aluminum motor is going to have an edge over the steel motor, my point is that Cody williams is young and fast, he doesen't need to run that hard for $1000 to win, for Christs sake they are trying to turn this track into a good Sprint car track but real sprint car fans arent going to go for this over aggressive driving, this is not how sprint car fans are, this kind of shit is what you expect from stock cars, not sprintcars. I personally want to see this track become a premeire track for sprintcars cause I dont think Perris is going to last that much longer. Their schedule gets smaller each year, any way it is water under the bridge its done , its over and we all wait for the 2010 openers. See ya

I absolutely love Victorville and have attended many races there. And hope to attend many more races there.

Respectfully, what I don't think you're getting here is that it was the 7 car that was "over agressive" by turning down on Cody. Cody had earned his right to be where he was and the 7 should have yielded some space for him to race. Cody had no reason to expect the 7 to turn into him. I sincerely doubt Cody would have done the same if the tables were turned.

I would love to see more shows come to Victorville. Especially USAC/CRA Sprints and USAC Midgets. Especially Midgets. But The Pas is not decreasing the number of Sprint shows every year. Indeed, they have increased the number of Sprint shows next year by over 25%. Still not as many shows as I would like to see there. But certainly not a decrease.

I would also like to see Victorville become a premiere track and think that will happen soon. The promoter works hard and if he can swing a deal with USAC/CRA for a couple of races next year it will draw very well. It is a racy track. IMO, I believe that the PAS will be around a little longer than you think. Anyway congratulations to Cody Williams and Greg Taylor for some hard racing.

You just cant win on this board, no matter what you do its wrong to someone. Real quick "redlog" says you shouldnt be racing that hard for 1000 to win hahaha obviously he doesnt understand what a real RACER is, a real racer races to WIN nothing else its not about the money its all about the victory! no matter if it was 100 to win or 10,000 you want to win. Get over it its racing, people bump and move each other all the time shit happens! no one was hurt and it was an exciting finish, i could go on and on but im sure its not going to do any good everyone has the right to their own opinion whether or not if its any good. Good job cody congrats on the win.

I think it is one of those racing deals...... On the race track you have to expect the unexpected... When in doubt throttle out.....even if your on top of someone....LOL..... Your gas pedal is your best friend. You can get out of a lot of trouble with it... I take mine off and sleep with it for christ sakes.... And its not about 1000 dollar check when you think about how much more $$$ it takes to run a full schedule with USAC / Victorville And that is without trashing a car. Its about the REKANIN as doc holliday says..... I think he was just the lucky one who did not stop on the track.... JMO

No question it was just racing, no blame or excuses needed.

I didnt like the staying in the throttle when youre climbing over someone, that has some potential to go very bad.

I have found that my instinct of getting of the gas sometimes helps more than planting your foot and praying for a good outcome. anybody can drive a car with the mentality of stand on it, close your eyes and pray. jmo and that is no offense to anybody. Just stating my thoughts on how I would have reacted wether it may be the wrong or right way.

A quote from Taylor at VRA.com........

Everyone please just drop it already, it was a racing thing so lets leave it at that.

Congrats to Cody on the win.

Greg Taylor .................my opinion is Taylor is a class act, anyone want to argue that!

What are you to beat? Smile just messin with ya, your doing great just give it some time, youll get your wins soon enough.

I have driven a pinto just once.... nice though.. i did win. I have driven sprints, late models, modifieds, Dwarfs, street stocks, "pintos", figure 8, professional karting, Im in contract stages for a Nation wide car, and will be running Baja this coming year. Im not bragging or trying to say I am in anyway better than you or anyone else, just stated that I do have winning experience and kinda know what racing is.

I have a lot of respect for both drivers in this accident and still do. I think this all should be over, it WAS a racing accident, nothing can be done about anything because of this. Just like Taylor posted... end it. Smile

Im sorry if I offended anyone in this process, it is truely not my intention.

Lol, it makes for good attention. I know, we were just talkin it up. I know better than to reply on forums because it may sometimes seem like I am being an ass or an idiot on comments, but really dont mean anything by it, thats why I generally stay off, just read. This is one of those, lol. I hate to have people look at me as anything but the nice kid that everyone enjoys to talk to. Tom, If you need help on the car or want to hit up the slick track, hit me up. Same goes to anyone else.

Trip...you've mentioned how nice it would be to see USAC at Victorville...and I agree it would make a great addition to the USAC schedule for next year...but Victorville is a family run track and possibly a big financial gamble like the cost of a USAC race might be to risky at this time...however a joint venture race like the Faas/Gardner races could be worked out......you wine and dine with some 'High Rollers'...think about it...The Zanzabuku Sports Lounge Classic at Victorville Auto Raceway

Don't forget to line up the field on the front straight for the Main Event and announce each driver from the back to the front one at a time.

"I just love to stir up alot of stuff".....

This is how it's done!

You just think he came down on Cody because you want to... If you look at the vidio with a little more of a open mind mind, I'm sure you all will see, as I do, that Cody came up on Greg, and if Greg hadn't turned down at that point, he wouldn't have made the turn at all!

That's how ya do it Jeremy..LOL

Your to funny Kenny! lol

Ya, I did see the little nudge in the video before the 2nd hit, the second hit was a racing deal and Im sure the first was too. Oh well, its racing, everyone is safe and not hurt so we will race on.
