I love sprint car racing. I have been a fan over 20 years....

I think the format for winged sprint car racing needs to be improved.

My proposal...

> 28 cars

1 qualifying lap.

4 heats ... 6th inverted.

top 4 in heat go to dash...

2 dashes 1st heat vs. 2nd heat...

lined-up in order of finish..

same for 3rd & 4th heat.

1st dash sets inside row for main.

2nd dash outside row.

Top for in B start 17 thru 20.

4 provisionals tag the tail....

this is for point series...

NOT FOR K-ville Nationals.

thoughts...?

A change is needed but you might not have went far enough in making changes. But, I think on the 1/3-3/8 mile tracks two Q-laps are ok. Easier to make a mistake on a single lap on a small track as opposed to a 1/2 mile track and could ruin your night. I've never driver so maybe not.
