My one and only brother had a tumor removed from his brain about five years ago and, although all the doctors said he wouldn't make it, somehow he fought off all the diseases and other complications and eventually pulled through.

It has been a long five years where he has been in and out of the hospital, having tracheas perfomed, seizures to over come and the such - each time he has pulled through.

Well my brother, four years my younger, had two hernias removed last week and he is now on a oxygen and his lungs are only working at 12%. If phenomena sets in it will not be good the doctors told my sister in law. Also, they said he is needing another trachea performed and he had told his wife that he wanted no more operations. Basically, he is about done.

In the past people have got on here, myself included, and asked for prayer for certain people, related and not related. I believe in the power of prayer and ask that you pray for my brother who is in bad shape. His birthday is December 1st and they said if he can make a turn for the better he won't be home until Christmas - where he also has three teenagers waiting.

I try not to ask for much but please, I ask that you pray for my brother, and my sister inlaw and his kids as well. Might say for my parents as well as they aren't taking this very well.

Thank you and I apologize for airing out my problems here.....

David, I wish you all the luck in the world with your brother. I really know what you are going thru and it is not fun. So God Speed to your brother and family our prayers are with you. Because the power of prayer is so strong my dad should have been gone years ago, but we are still blessed with his presence at 82.

David about two years ago They said I had a very slim chance of making it. I had to have 5 brain operations and blood transfusions that to this day I only have one lung and had 4 pe's go through my heart and into my right lung. I know what your brother is going through. Please tell him not to give up. There was people praying for me and I pulled through. Prayer is a very strong thing and I will be saying one for him each day and I really do believe he will get through this. I know me and you have had are problems and I am sorry on my part. God Bless you, your brother and your whole family.
