This is the Video I made for the 2009 Interstate Racing Association Banquet. Congratulations to Billy Balog on 2 Championships in a row and Phillip Mock. Phillip is a second generation driver and at 15 years old is the 2009 IRA Rookie of the year.

A number of things were put to a vote for the drivers and the tire deals were one of them. We will have to wait and see. It is great to see that the drivers opinions are taken very seriously in the IRA.

"Gunner" and "IRA" are you sure your interested in sprint cars? lol, from a outsider looking in, the IRA seems to be headed up well, seems too many deals/rules are made on a handshake under the table, kickn the heels up , lightn a stoogie , and a grimissing laugh.
Im not so sure this Goodyear deal is going to be all its cracked up to be? the smaller sanctioning bodies seem to follow suit, and for what, I cant imagine the kickback is worthy ? (again just speculation) ,although, maybe for the Outlaws it is good ?I think it should just be opened up , let ther durometer run the show !
were still curious what our local body will do? , I hope they (IRA) listened to the drivers ideas and concerns with open ears and not just pull the batteries on the Belltone.

The IRA does listen to the drivers. The Staff is made up of past drivers and champions. A vote was taken and the vote will stand. This I am sure of. When I see the results I will post them here. Why people hack on this league I will never understand. Granted I have only been around the IRA pits for 3 seasons but I have been a face fan of racing for 29 years. The IRA is MY group in MY area. I support them 110%.Is that not what local tracks and drivers deserve?

Yes I do. 10 bucks a copy for most races. I am a start up and plan to have a web site before next season. Filming is still a hobby at this time but is starting to take off.E-mail me off of here or the You tube site if you are interested and we can work something out.
Thanks for the compliment.
