Gee, comparing 360 drivers to 410 drivers.....most of those drivers would likely tell you that there's no difference. They'd likely say that they're just SPRINT CAR DRIVERS - no more, no less.... and certainly not worthy of any comparison in that light.
Some are better than others, absolutely, but I don't think that two or three races tells the story.....
Oh, and Joey's car broke in the heat, which meant very few points for the heat under the ASCS format, which meant a B main run, that he won, but still stuck him way back in the A
Chuck.....

410 racing is the major leagues. 360 racing is the minor leagues. To say that Joey isnt as good as 360 drivers because of 1 race is about stupid when he won 20 races this year. Only the 5th driver in WoO history to do that feat.

Joey was fast all night. Was I think leading his heat race and the car broke. And then in the main he was running through the pack pretty well and I believe he was squeezed up into the wall and blew a right rear tire or broke something else. Just a few bad breaks. Several drivers had bad breaks last night. Brian Brown didn't transfer from the B.

soonersprint25 you should probably check the facts before you jaw jack so im not embarassed to say im from oklahoma. Saldana was the fastest car hands down here lastnight was blowin the heat away by half a lap when he had problems with the motor, started last in the B and won it by half a lap, started 18th in the with a yellow 2 laps in he was up to 9th and was running toward top 5 when he got squeezed into the turn 3 wall just a racing deal neither wanted to lift and broke front end so needless to say ya! lonnie wheatley usually puts out a good description of the races on the ascs website maybe you should read it before you speak

You also forgot to mention another WoO driver (Lasoski) took the lead and then had a motor start to go sour but why would you mention any of that?

Hey guys, he is just a kid who is out of school for the weekend and probably made straight A's this week so he gets the computer. Real sprint car fans don't care if it was a 360 or 410 driver, just as long as it was good racing.

Sammy Swindell, and Tim Kaeding are ASCS national regulars....NO. Go over and read the ASCS article on the night and all you hear about is TK, the Dude, and Saldana...410 Outlaws by trade...
If any place is dominating NorCal should be mentioned. TK(1st), Sammy(1st), and Stewart(2nd) are all California cars. Plus Crockett(3rd) is a former civil war champ and frequent visitor.
Then there were top 10 performances by Bobby McMahan (7th), Sean Becker(9th), and Stephen Allard(10th). Mason Moore even finished 14th.
Oh, and the fastest car on the track was Saldana in the Main 35a out of Grass Valley, CA.

Regardless of what series they race it is great to see all these drivers get a chance to run against one another. That being said,I only wish the promoters in northern California would get on board with the ASCS series so that we can see this kind of racing in northern California.

Have you been to the Trophy Cup, the Gold Cup, the Mini Gold Cup, or even the Fall Nationals?

This is hilar! I have listened both nights and all I hear is 410 drivers mentioned; Sammy, TK, Dude and Joey. TK had some luck that Dude and Joey had issues as they were coming for him. Once Joey & Dude were out, the rest of the ASCS 360 guys couldn't keep up with TK.

Joey didn't have his Mopar did he???? The more I look into this 360 stuff the more of a joke it becomes. Fifty foot long 18 wheelers in the pits and restricted spec cast iron block mandated cookie cutters on the track makes no sense. Lets get back to something intense and on the edge under the hoods. Sell the $300,000 rig and 4 spare cars. Buy a dually pickup and 20 foot trailer and put all the extra money into the hot rod on the race track and give us something to get excited about again. Emmet and the boys need to go hang out with the Napcar goobers.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

You do know that Paul Silva and Shane Stewart are exactly who you are talking about and they are going to be the ASCS National champions this year. So it can be accomplished IMO.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

To quote a sage from the midwest : THE RACECAR DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE ! He who turns the "steerwheel" is the driver and the racecar don't care.
it's ALL GOOD.

You people don't understand that the ASCS is probably the toughest series out there the way the format is. It all comes down to your pill draw. Joey had to come from 21 but that is the way it goes when it comes down to passing points. If something happens in the heat you have to work your way though the B Main. The way I see it is that Saldana and McMahan made the most passes and made it a great show for the fans.
