20th Annual Texas Racer’s Auction & Trade Show Dec. 18-19
Mesquite TX (11/17/09) by DarinShort.com. The largest auto racing industry auction and trade show reaches its 20th anniversary on December 18th-19th at this year’s installment of the Texas Racer’s Auction and Trade Show at Dallas Market Hall in Dallas, Texas.
Presented by Smiley’s Racing (www.SmileysRacing.com), this annual event draws industry vendors and racing enthusiasts from across the region to kick off the 2010 buying season.
One note of immediate importance, the auction has sold out of consignment numbers the past seven years, so if you have auction items, you must have your consignment numbers reserved no later than December 4th. Trade Show exhibit space is also available for industry professionals selling new items only. Premium spaces are going fast, so reserve yours today by connecting to the contact names above.
Conveniently located just north of downtown Dallas at the Dallas Market Hall off of I-35; excellent lodging, entertainment and parking options are available in the immediate area for those making a weekend out of the event.
Thursday, December 17th is vendor set-up and auction consignment from the hours of 9AM-6PM. No consignments will be accepted after 6PM.
The 20th anniversary event officially opens its doors to the public at 6PM on Friday, December 18th and the auction begins at 7PM; both will run through 10PM.
Saturday December 19th is the big finale, with the trade show doors opening at 8:30AM, while the auction fires back up at 9AM and runs through 8PM.
The event is open to the public; whether you are a part of a race team, industry member or simply a race fan. There will also be items for sale that will make great Holiday gift-giving solutions for those easy or hard to buy for. Event admission is $15 and includes both days. There is no charge for parking at Dallas Market Hall. Food concessions will be available during show hours.
Auction items include goods such as: IMCA Cars, Trailers, Tow Rigs, Engines, Engine Parts, Shop Equipment, Tools, Drag Cars, Stock Cars, Modified Cars, Sprint Cars, New Parts, Used Parts and Wheels. Used tires are not allowed unless mounted on wheels. Items must be clean and ready to go to auction upon their arrival at the event center.
