I read on Midsouth that Sammy Swindell and Stenhouse Jr's crew got into a fight after the race. Read that Stenhouse Jrs Dad got some good shots in on Sammy. Anyone there tonight?

Yeah I read that too. You would think a guy could take getting beat more proffesionally than that. Some dumbass said Sammy took Stenhouse out but Sammy passed him with a clean slider going into 3 and 4 and then coming down the front shute Ricky tries to pinch Sammy into the wall and takes himself out. I guess Sammy was hit with something and was getting care from the ambulance while a few of Stenhouse's crew were left bleeding.
It was obvious Sammy was faster being that he came from the back to catch the leader, idk, just more reason for the Sammy haters to bitch some more.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

I was there. Sammy did slide Ricky clean but Ricky got along side him and raced side by side going into one. I was in the backstretch stands so I couldn't really tell who did what but Ricky's front axle got broke and he spun to a stop in turn one. I think what really started things was when Sammy said in his interview that Ricky "has his head up his ass," then I saw some guys coming through the fence and then the crowd on the front side started going nuts. From what I heard apparently Rick Sr. got a hit on Sammy then someone with a set of brass knuckles hit Sammy in the left eye. Then someone out of the blue hit Rick Sr. in the left eye leaving him with a pretty bad gash above his eyebrow.
I hope someone was taping the race and can get it on youtube because I'd like to see what happened on the track. Overall I thought the racing was great with the inverted feature. There was a young girl driving a #88 sprinter that took a bad flip on the backside and had to taken out in an ambulance but other than that, nothing bad happened during the featch. The fast guys came from the rear to the front.

If
you are able to set aside the name vs name hype, the
important parts needing to be said, are:
(1) The Pete Walton’s Flip-Flop 50 was an epic sprintcar
race, maybe the kind that only happens once in a hundred years.
(2) Holy crap, you missed it.
Before the story blows wide open, creating a messageboard mushroom
cloud, if you’re able to purge your predetermined thoughts, hatred and bias you may be able to take in the essential elements of this tale. Fortunately,
for all not in attendances, there was at least one pro-grade video camera there
both nights. We need to gather or designate a specific time to pray there will be a
quick-production edit and wide spread availability of this one. It was absolutely
a classic, coming at a track that very well may have produced more sprintcar
classics than any other in the country. Clayton Allen and his staff & team has resurrected this legendary speed plant back its original glory. Awesome job Riverside International Speedway.
If only Kevin Eckert could have been sitting
in the turn 2 grandstand could you ever get
the true grandeur of this hydra, in print.
All or parts of this post will copied/pasted to other sites.

Go Sammy! I am not a rabid Swindell fan, but I am certain of the Stenhouse attitude.
His sense of entitlement is absurd! Obviously Ricky wasn't good enough, AGAIN.
Congrats to Swindell.

just sayin, sammy drives aggressive.doesn't leave a lot of room for error.
so i guess crappy drivers, and most importantly crappy bench racers, will always be mad at him.
too bad most of you can't appreciate an amazing racer when you see one!
Thanks,
Rabid Duck

This sport needs more guys going to blows every once in a while. Not a bad thing at all! Like these nascar guys there's a video of Gordon and Stewart going at it talking smack and you nothings going to go down. They have there crew's there to hold them back. Just makes them look better for who is watching. Bring it!

Like I said just another oppurntunity for Sammy haters to bitch. I have never seen Sammy take anyone out on purpose, but shit does happen. If he was gonna take people out he would have a few WoO wins this year alone. I liked his comments on Stenhouse and whether or not you like him or not Sammy is still one of the best, so people get over it.
The older I get, the faster I used to be.

This sounds like it may be Slamin Sammy himself or could it be Amy?
If your neither that's posting under your B-grade, copycat of a Tony Stewart 80's alias, then "Holy Crap, YOU MISSED IT" too. TJ, your in a fantasy world, or on the Swindell's payroll (possibly the trailor waxer) and no where near the ballpark with this one. Try to accept it and then you maybe able to get over it, too.
Sprint50- Morgan Turpin was in #80 sprintcar that got Slaminized.

Well I can tell you that I am not Sammy nor am I on his payroll or washing the trailer. However I am a fan of most any Motorsport and can tell you with all certainty that Sammy is one of the best ever to grace the dirt tracks of this world, but probably not yours.
