Thanks for the info David.

My thoughts and prayers are extended to the family of Jere. May God bless his soul.

I worked with him briefly in the 90's and learned a few things from him and about him then. He'll be missed by all who knew him. God speed Jere!!!

Cant help but remember Kim Cook at this time as well! These two battled it out in the factories with Randy and Timmy Allen as well as Steve Hand for championships in the 90's. A little info or background on Jere that some may not know, he went to pit in NASCAR in the early 90's for Nemecheck and John Andretti as a jack man before comming back to OKC to run factories. I think he was best known for bringing back from NASACAR some of the front end geometry as well as paying attention to the little details that most people over look is why he won championships. Like him or not he would always give you whatever you needed to get back out on the track to race. When I started drivin he let me shop out of his buss. and have full rain of whatever I needed. On the back of his car one year I remember "You Cant Catch The Fletch". He also had one of the most spectacular wrecks on the front strait in his Pro Stock on the 1'2 mile, His car flipped nose to tail 4 or 5 times in a ball of fire landing on his roof. When Red came over to get him out and asked if he was OK his response was "Well hell yes just get me out of this Damn thing".

JD I remember my buddy who use to race with you guys in factorys talk about Jere. I never knew him but from all accounts I got he seemed to be a good guy.I do remember when he came back from Nascar and when he came back it seemes as if he set the worls on fire in the factorys.

My payers are with the family.
