Does it get any better than Bobby Gerould and Troy Hennig in the booth? I thought those two did a fantastic job both nights. They kept the fans informed, and with the Trophy Cup format that is very important. They both have a good sense of humor. And name another track where you can request Grover Washington Jr. and hear it moments later?
George Hague does a great job trackside with his interviews and reports.
I know they get assists from Ron Rodda and Gary Thomas with Trophy Cup and general information. Those two deserve credit as well.
I don't want to slight the other good announcers we have around, but to me, Troy and Bobby are tops.

Amen to that Mike. They work sooo well together and compliment each others strong points. Not to
knock Johnny Gibson, but I really like what Troy adds to Bobby's outstanding input better than
Johnny did a couple
years back. I don't want to demean Johnny's style but it just didn't work as well at the Trophy cup.
Bobby and Troy seem to work together as equals and it appeared to me that Johnny thought he was
in charge.

I agree they both did a great job..What was more important to me is you could actually hear what they were saying...other than Perris, no other track has a PA system to speak of...As long as Tulare keeps up the great work I will no longer attend the Northern California track which seems like it does not care about the fans...

The good news is the same crew will be back announcing at the Pacific Coast Nationals in a couple weeks. It'll be the third show this year that Bobby and Troy will have worked together including the Trophy Cup and the Vermeil Classic. Looking forward to the PCN.

And yes there the best in the business, and they did do a great job both days at the T-Cup.
And to Gary Thomas and George Hague thanks to them also. And the best Main Event I have ever seen in the 360 Wings and the best announcer's that made for a very good weekend of racing...

I hope the announcing team keeps race fans updated concerning both (USAC/CRA and USAC National ) series' close point races. Looking forward to five nights of traditional sprint cars in a one week period.

CWM, you low-down dirty rat bastard two-timin' bum! Since Dick Lane died there is only one lord of the microphone, the Vin Scully of sprint car racing, our very own..GT. Man, I can not believe you screwed up so badly. In addition, Gary won't give you not stinkin' Grover Washington. Put GT in the booth and he will be spinin' "Tito & Turantula", the only band that sounds as good as the cars.
