A while back someone asked about the 1990s when WoO ran a few times on asphalt. In the Oct 7th issue of Nat. Speed Sport News, Terry Gray won Fri nite at Carolina Speedway, a 1/2 mile dirt oval, in the Parts Plus United Sprint Car Series and also won the next nite in the Parts Plus series at Hickory Motor Speedway on a .363 mile asphalt track. Do they use different cars or just does the series only let them do minor tweaks. Is this a winged series? Terry Gray, still slugging it out in a sprint car.

Only a few of the guys that ran both nights had different cars. Most of us just changed tires, bars, shocks, etc. It is a winged series. Check out www.uscsracing.com for more info.

I checked out the website 'sprintcarjoe' mentioned. A quote from the site: "Gray also won the Friday night dirt track portion of the unique weekend of competition that highlighted the versatility of the series drivers who are the only winged sprint car series in the world to contest their Championship on both dirt and paved ovals".
Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Terry won with 2 different cars. The asphalt car is a J&J dirt car with some pavment conversion stuff on it. If you notice in the picture it is right hand steer.
