Kip Hughes took the lead from race long leader Chris Dawson right at the races halfway point and then held off Dawson in lapped traffic by just under a car length at the finish line to win the opening night of the Octoberfast Stock Car Nationals at Outlaw Motor Speedway on Friday night.

Chad McNamara finished eleventh. Also making the twenty-five lap feature from this side of the area were Brian Wolfe and Mark Brill. Also the factory stock champion from Lake Country Speedway, Tommy McKinney was there as was Rusty Geter. Between 63-68 cars were on hand preparing for Saturday nights $5000 to win feature. Races start at 5:00 PM.

I will post results on the schedule/results page when I receive them from the track.

Nope, Stock Car Nationals, much like the street stock nationals that Enid has. This pays $5000 to win however.

I was told that Kip Hughes and Chris Dawson were so dominating that they lapped the 3rd place car...this is just hearsay but I can see how its very possible with these two.
