Last year there was a Nice little something extra for the top finishing 360! Anything like that this Year? and if so what is it? How many teams will run a 360?

Perris needs to do something because from what i hear they only have around 40 entries so far. I hope they give some incentive to 360 teams. I know years past the early entry deadline was two weeks before the OVALS this year it is a month before the OVALS, why, I don't know but i hope they get more than 40 cars for this race. It also costs a car owner $250 to enter a car now so that is no incentive.

A hardy hand shake and a pat on the back. Did any 360 collect last year?

Don't flip out just yet, I'm sure there are going to be over sixty cars there this year. There better be, because I already bought my tickets.

That was two or three years ago that we paid the 360 bonus money and only two showed up. And, if I remember correctly, only one of them was still around on the last night.

No one ever knew about it? Sorry, that is totally wrong. You may have not known, but we publicized the heck out of it starting long before the Oval Nationals that year. And, I personally contacted 360 organizations and tracks around the nation (not that we really expected any 360s from anywhere besides California or Arizona) to have them inform their drivers of the bonus. 360 drivers and teams did know about it. They also knew it was a tough, tough field and their odds of making it to the A main were not good.

With only two 360s showing up the year we offered the bonus (it paid the highest point 360 car for the preliminary nights and the best finish by a 360 car on the final night) it was discontinued. It is not happening this year.

Thank you for clearing that up for me Scott, I stand corrected. And yes that is a HEAVY HITTING field, To make the A main in a 360 you better have a wing on. Thank You again.

For the record....Brandon Thompson and Chris Wakum.....Brandons motor laid down on him and Chris made a darn good show of it despite being 125 to 150 hp less than the 410's...Wakum took all the extra 360 money ,if I remember right ,,and yes Perris let everyone know..it was the talk in the pits

Someone put that Brandon Thomson in a 410. He is a very good driver and a good guy too. If he has the opportunity to race, he gives it 100%.

Cover your beer, the race is on!
