MEET USAC/CRA SUPERSTAR DAVID CARDEY THIS SATURDAY IN RIVERSIDE!

(OCTOBER 13, 2009, RIVERSIDE, CA) Racing fans from around Southern California can meet USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series superstar "Dynamite" David Cardey and get an up close look at his ITI Performance Motorsports 5-Bar Viper Chassis/ITI Performance powered red #38 Sprint Car this Saturday, October 17^th, at an open house at Freddy Chandler's famous Racer's Pub in Riverside. Festivities will begin around noon. Racers Pub is located at 3847 Pierce St (92503).

In addition to Cardey, who is currently fighting for the USAC/CRA championship (he is only 8 points out of first), current California Lightning Sprint Car Series point leader Stuart Hielscher Sr. and his son Stuart Jr. (more Lightning Sprint Car wins at The PAS than any other driver the last two years) will be on hand with their racecars. Brian Peterson, from World Champion Hill Climb Team Peterson, will be on hand along with two nitro burning hill climb bikes along with Speedway Motorcycle racer Rick Valdez. Other racers and their cars and motorcycles will be on hand along with some custom hot rods.

Not to be outdone by Cardey, his nationally known legion of fans, The Dirt Track Diva's will also be on hand to meet and greet fans and sign autographs. There will be a barbecue and give away items throughout the afternoon.

Chandler has been a familiar face around Southern California racing for decades. He has helped Cardey, Jason Leffler, Dean Thompson and other racers throughout the years. He also owned the famous red double decker bus at Ascot. His Racer's Pub has been a favorite gathering place and watering hole for racers and racing fans for years.
