Congrats to Joe Jr. on his ASCS Sooner Region Championship after a rough start Saturday at the Cowtown Nats.

Good job Lil' Joe I'm proud of you.

I was so excited, I had to go back and correct my post. Please excuse me now while I go clean myself up.....

GOOD JOB 'LIL JOE!!!! I know they were in a rain delay and that he came into today with a slim 16 point lead. Think this is the first time a city driver has won the Sooner region championship since Danny (Jennings) won it in 2002.

Matt Covington and Crew also deserves alot of credit for a hard fought battle to the end. The Covington's are a class act, I was sorry to see they had so many problems this weekend. Like I said at the end of last year....."that Covington kid is going to be the one to watch in 2009"

Good job Guys.....You had a great year also.

Congratulations to Little Joe, Daddy Joe and the entire team on your 2009 ASCS Sooner Series Championship. You worked hard all year and rightly deserve it. Hope you can do it again next year.

Congrats Joe Wood Jr. - as well as Joe Wood Sr. - and all the family and team of the ASCS/Super Sprint 03 and Champ Sprint 71.

They all had a very good year. And it's not done yet.

And congrats to Matt Covington as well. I'm sure he is disappointed - but he has a had a good year too. Several strong runs - especially winning that quasi 360 Nationals at Knoxville - the weekly show where they had 60 sumthin sprints. Both Joe Jr. and Covington will surely put on many good runs both in Regional and in National races for years to come. Great young talents with blinding futures.

AND they are both ARP customers! Thanks to both of these guys as well as Donnie Crawford. ARP sweeps top 3 in Sooner region.
