Here's the latest forecast from NOAA, and it's looking decent at this point.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 75. North northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.

IF Ma Nature throws us a curve later in the week and if this forecast changes in the days to come, we have 3 back-up plans ready to plug in...so we will get in the entire show this weekend...as long as it doesn't change drastically from this forecast for Saturday.

So, all is planned, as is, until further notice. Cowtown has a long history of 'getting races in' and we don't plan to change that now.

At the moment, we have 68 sprint teams entered from across the country, plus great fields of drivers assembled in the Topless 100, Topless Limiteds and Winged 600's (which even includes an entry from Indiana).

Click www.CowtownSpeedway.com for advance or reserved tickets, late-registration (can also be done at the track), schedule, event flyer and more.

Final complete 'early' entry list for Cowtown Sprint Nationals:

If there are any of you that don't find your name and have pre-entered, please email me at [email protected] and we'll go from there.

Right now, we're sitting at 69 sprint entries and on course for solid 40+ fields in each of the 600's, topless limited and topless 100 divisions.

Thanks to all of the teams that have taken the time to get pre-registered...and it also helps us to help you.

Triple C is on the loose. The El Reno Police Department has been receiving several complaints of some nut running naked through the streets.

to say I'm stoked would be an understatement.

my plan had been to go to Night 1 of ASCS2 at I-44 Speedway - and then to Cowtown saturday.

But weather among other things is makin' me consider and prepare for a Cowtown doubleheader.

I just know there is one track I don't plan on attending - that being State Fair Speedway. Of the 3 shows I have interest in this weekend - it's a VERY distant 3rd.

lmao.

that really is priceless Allen.

Yeah if anyone in El Reno sees a naked dude on their lawn - takin shots from an inhaler to avoid asphyxiation - it's no big deal. It will be a nightly occurence until Friday - after that - they won't have to worry about until around October 18th or so - when I start gettin all excited about the I-44 Winter Nationals - and then STN - and then the NSS.

With those big races over the next 4 weeks and my inability to contain my excitement - I'll need a little luck to avoid the authorities wink

Is anyone leaving for this deal at about 6pm on Friday? I know that it's late but I have to work and I don't want to drive by myself!

Coming from Lawton through Wichita Falls and over might be getting you there a hell of alot quicker then coming down from OKC.
