Thanks to everyone that helped out with the Kindoll Classic, we raised an extra $3,400 and were able to honor Billy Wilkerson and Walt James as well. Special thanks to those folks that could only afford small amounts, it really helps. The plan is to continue the race and honor Jack for the 14th year in 2010...thanks again for those that helped out.

When do we get a =Walt James= Classic? (Not at =all= to dismiss Billy, but Walt did sorta =start= the whole ball rolling, if my history's correct.)

Great Idea... glad you brought that up, the Wilkerson Family has supported the Kindoll race for 14 years in a BIG way, Jack and Wilda took Walt in like a brother (with years of sponsorship) so it all fits, one thing I notice is that your name has never been on the list of sponsors, since it is your idea, can we count on you for 2010?

It was very special to our family and friends to see Rip, Cody, and Austin do the honorary Laps for Billy, Walt, and Jack. Billy was a great driver and a very successful car owner.....and he loved sprint car racing!!!! We have already sent our donation to the Oval Nationals Lap Money and will also again support the Glenn Howard race at the end of the year. It was a pleasure to see our contribution to the Kindoll Classic go to Tony Jones (one of our former drivers)......Billy drove sprint cars for Ernie Duncan from 1965 until about 1972 (with one year for Don Peabody in 1970)....Ernie was in the Pits on Saturday night enjoying this very special tribute to Billy.....my thanks to all that continue to support sprint car racing at Perris Auto Speedway.
