FT: Davey Pombo (only driver under 14 seconds)

H1: Danny Faria Jr., Davey Pombo, Rusty Carlile

H2: Peter Murphy, Greg Porte

H3: Justine Hamblin, Albert Pombo, T. J. Smith

Main (no B): Danny Faria Jr., Peter Murphy, Davey Pombo, Greg Porte, Justine Hamblin.

Pombo led the first half, then in the midst of a battle with Murphy, Faria shot through and led to the end. The 18-year-old Hamblin restarted next to the back of the field and came through to fifth. This young lady is =very= smooth. She made =no= mistakes the entire evening.

Alan Ballard drove a dirt modified tonight but did not make the 24-car A Main in a 32-car field. We had 17 West Coast 360 Sprint Cars tonight.

Thanks raj!

Justyne really did run smooth and fast considering the track was full of ruts.

I have no issue w/ Hamblin but I'm not sure her outcome warranted you praise. She went in to the work area on the first lap and had 29 laps to get around some very low hanging fruit. Given the high quality of her equipment and the fact that several good cars got wrecked-out she SHOULD have finished 5th. To me, the driver earning praise is Faria. Hollywood had that thing WAY up on the right front in turn two early-on and managed to save it. That was as close as you can get to disaster and not seriously wreck. He regrouped and went on to victory with several amazing moves along the way.

IHB: Danny did a =terrific= job last night, BUT... we =expect= that from him (and everyone else named Faria). An 18-year-old girl who finished in front of Rusty, T. J., and Albert while nipping at Greg's heals, however, =is= "news," don'tcha think? (Moreover, she also took the measure from T. J. and Albert in her heat.)

I have no issue w/ Danny either but one Hamblin didn't go to the work area she landed off the front straight after almost going over when Logan's rear end blew up , the other only 2 cars fell out in front off her Rusty & TJ , also how many YEARS does Danny have in a sprint car he should be changling for top honors all the time , and you have no idea what that TEAM [ Hamblin ] goes through to get to the track every week .........
