DCS is one of the nicest tracks I've ever been to. Great knowledge of how to farm a track to bring it back to life. Great owners who trully give a shit that people get the show that they deserve. Fast track and I've seen five and six wide racing before. Go - you won't be disappointed. If I wasn't going there middle of the week next week got a huge 3day mod race, I'd be catching this show also. I just don't want to drive the 10 hours there and 10 back twice in one week. It'll be an awesome show!!

Yeah, it's not for the sprint only fan. These modifieds they have are fuggin crazy fast and take chances in racing like sprints do. It's not your boring ass lates racing. They had a labor day race with the WDRL lates and USMTS mods and the lates announcer asked the local mod announcer if this is the way the mods always raced there because he couldn't believe what they were doing. You going to DCS this Sat.? It's a fast track - high banked and very wide. They have a ton of equipment to work the track and most importantly, the knowhow to use them right for a great race surface. They only do one sprint show a year because that area is so huge on the mods.

Since its a rainout, theres not alot of tickets left for this race, so if you dont have them, better get online and reserve them at will call.

It will be my first time there, and were really looking forward to it. Ive heard nothing but good things about this facility, except the mods. hehehe.

USRA B mods are the support class, but it was limited to the first 24 registered, so there wont be 100 of them there.

My guess is that they will also put on a hell of a show.

My original plan was to attend the World of Outlaws race at Deer Creek but I won't be able to attend the rain date due to other obligations. This race is associated with a worthy cause called Sprint For a Cure. Check it out for more information.

Deer Creek is 347 miles from Fargo? Just found out we are not going to Grand Forks tonight. Reason: will still have their Outlaw sprint class, but their super late models and the midwest mods are not at home tonight and have been replaced by Mini Mod 4s and Legends from another track----too much buzzzzing for me). 347 miles? Speaking of Mods---at Nebraska Raceway Park when WoO still raced there, the support class one time was IMCA orWissota Mods and it was a "one-off" run anything night and man some of em must have been putting out 600 HP+. Anyway---347 miles one way, wife will be home from work in 10 minutes? 50-50 deal.

Adding $6 trillion of debt in his 1st term and now if
elected again he wouldn't have to worry about an
electorate in 2016 so the sky is the limit. And his EPA
would continue to put the screws to oil drilling and
mining for coal. Can you say bankruptcy.

Deer Creek is the nicest track in the upper midwest. In my opinion. High Banked, wicked fast, extremely wide. If you have the chance to go..DO IT!! I have a wedding tonight, otherwise I'd be there. Have fun if you go!!

good call. 1 night of buggies is better than a week of those yellow starters.

i went. lots of buzzing. That night of racing challenged me on my racing philosophy (I go for sprint cars and that's it). I've now changed my philosophy. I need the late models as well, anything less than LM & Sprints is a bunk show. Sorry.

If I was 347 away, I would do it.

Lots of Outlaws allready in town, should be an awsome car count with some coming from IA,(K-ville racers) and SD (Husets)

If you don't have tickets I would would goto www.deercreekspeedway.com and get um, looks close to being a sale out.

Great weather, lots of cars (410s) only 15mins from Rochester, MN price-less Can't Wait.

I just emailed the Deer Creek Speedway and they replied back right away... She told me that there are GA tickets still available, Reserved tickets went off sale yesterday at 5pm. Grandstands and ticket office open at 3pm today.

We will be heading up there from Knoxville. Will be an awesome show.

Have a great day!

Michele
