Well.......
Don't forget that OCRS kicks off on Friday night with the Harold Leep honoring deal at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee. They then head to Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada on Saturday night. So, if OCRS is your thing then you can catch both of their races this weekend.
ASCS sooner at Creek County. Could be interesting as to who would show up. Do you like the short track at Creek and are you almost always satisified watching there?
Lake Country Speedways weekly season finale I am sure is Saturday night. Cool track or wait until their Jordan Page Winter Nationals.
Lawton is off until their Winter Nationals. See above anchored post.
Brill Motor Speedway should be a good one as should Enid Speedway Park for weekly shows. Should be good car counts if weekly racing is your thing.
Just trying to help a brotha out.

Randy - I would have to think Sooner Region at Creek would be your bet.
It sucks the OCRS got rained out last weekend. OCRS wont impact the ASCS car count that much - but just a tick. I stil think Creek gets 30+.
Oddly enough, I have always enjoyed going there. But yet talkin to some of the weekly viewers up there - they aren't always satisfied. But I can't think of a bad ASCS race I have seen up there - and its even better now that there are 2 raceable grooves in turns 3 and 4. PLUS - it's the last round before the ginormous Cowtown show - by that I mean, the continuation of Joe Wood Jr.'s chasing the 2009 Sooner Region championship. And pending what is goin' on in the DFW area - there could be some Texas guys. Same with WoW - if nuthin much in Missouri - some of them may come.
Outside of that. Ada is a strong bet. Whereas I loathe the track surface and believe I have seen my last race there - it is OCRS as well as EXTRA MONEY for Mods and Sport Mods. I think that extra dough pushes all 3 of those classes quite a bit further than what BMS will spit out. I think BMS will be about normal. no further comment.
I think I-44 will be about normal too. low to mid 20's in both non wing and A Class. maybe a dozen restricted. and single digits of everything else. I was planning to go to Creek, BUT - it looks like I might go to the OU game this saturday - and i doubt there is enough time to trek to creek for even a bad seat if I do that. So I think it will probably be a dislocated fantasy section affair at the OU game, if indeed me and the young nephew go. Dirt Squared, Sprints Rock, etc. will be somewhere in the house of 80k+ too - and wescoe finally makes use of his tickets this week (unlike last haha).
And then a fantasy section "reunion" at I-44 Speedway.
Sounds like a pretty good saturday to me. I just hope it goes better than the last time fantasy section had a like weekend. That being a couple weeks ago when we attended the Jerry Jones World debacle - then to all meet back in the fantasy section the next night (champ sunday) with long faces over the previous evenings disappointment. On the flip side - the last time the fantasy section met at I-44......it was a really good race. So maybe we'll get lucky on both accounts this weekend
:::great success::: (Borat)

lookin at Sooner Region points. I'll put those I THINK will be there. But there will be a few I put down that won't. And there will be a few I leave that probably will be there. The OCRS race makes thigns tricky. There's quite a few that would prob run Creek - but run OCRS so might be at Ada (like Passmore, Danny Smith, K. Clark, Weaver, etc.). So for kicks I'll say.....
Joe Wood Jr. Matt Covington Kenneth Walker Donnie Ray Crawford Kyle Bellm Brad Graham Chris Lloyd Andy Shouse Forrest Sutherland Robert Sellers Brady Bacon Nick Smith Brain McClelland Danny Wood Michelle Decker JP Bailey Sherman Davis Dustin Morgan Zach Chappell Koby Barksdale Whit Gastineau Sean McClelland Foster Landon Kolt Walker Andrew Marshala Justin Melton Gavin Punch Kerry McAlister Eric Baldaccini Matt Clevenger Kris Miller Cody Branchcomb Frank Sudduth
Thats going off the ASCS Sooner pts. standings. There will FOR SURE be several on that list that won't be there. And several not on that list that will show up. There's prob less than 15 on that list I am for sure of.
Some of the OCRS guys won't be there. BUT - much depends on how many SFS guys show up. As well as DFW guys (like Melton, Martin, Clevenger, Baldaccini, etc.). There could also be some Winged Outlaw Warrior Missouri based drivers show up. But I don't know what if any races are goin' on in Missouri. Same with Kansas area cars. If there are no other races - it wouldn't be a shock to see some WoW guys come down I-44. Or even a Brian Brown/Jesse Hockett. But I wouldn't count on it. Much depends on how many Tulsa cars come out, as well SFS and DFW drivers. Anything past that would be welcome additions. Lets not forget - New Mexico drivers have been showing a willingness to drive east for ASCS shows all season. So between KS, NM, MO, AR drivers - who knows. Maybe Creek could pick up 0-1 from those areas. Maybe they could pick up a combined 7-8.
But the aforementioned areas will be what the show has to draw from. I wouldn't be shocked to hear they have 22. I wouldn't be shocked to hear they have 38 either. I think if OCRS wasn't running saturday - they would have upper 30's for sure. Now to hit that they prob need many travelers.
JMO on all of this Kenny. Best bet is to look at other sooner shows at creek this year - then subtract those likely to go ocrs racing saturday. It's near impossible to predict with any accuracy .....but i think they will get round 26-32 cars.

Glad to hear you guys (YA'LL) have a choice. It's Creek County for us and Armour in grandstands if you happen to sit next to one of them Fat Girls who's husband is racing in the Front Wheel Drive class. Try not to get caught up in that deal. It might hurt.
