Kennedale TX (9/11/09) by DarinShort.com. The weather has once again postponed the racing program set for 9/12 featuring the 9-11 Memorial.
But not to worry...
Now Cowtown Speedway is going to have an unbelievable blow out event on SEPTEMBER 26th with a SPECIAL START TIME called the RACE FAN'S DREAM:
Want Sprint Cars? Got 'Em! $1000 to win for the Cowtown Sprint Season Championships...it's also the final warm-up to the Cowtown Sprint Nationals set for Oct. 9-10!
Want To See The 9-11 Memorial? You Will! The complete program, as well as the huge, professional fireworks display will go on as planned.
Want to see the Late Models again? They'll Be Here! $1000 to win and $100 to start for Late Models brought to you by LenMar Motorsports. Rules and format are located on the homepage link of the track website.
What about the $2000 to win Modified special set for 9/12? It Will Be On 9/26 Too! Details on the homepage of the track website...and yes, the AFLAC $250 Hard Charger award will roll over to that night too.
LSDCC.com Dwarfs? Yup. They'll be making up their 9/12 event on 9/26 too!
The Final 2009 Demo Derby? You Betcha! The night will wrap up with the slam-bang action of the $1000 to win Demo Derby!
Still want more? Well, you're going to get it! As, the electrifying Winged 600's, Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks and Bombers round out the massive 8 division racing card on 9/26!
Start Times? Pits will open early, 3pm. Hot laps at 5:30 and races at 6pm sharp - so arrive early!
Prices? All of this for an incredibly low price of $15 for adults! Child tickets are still $2 and Youth are $5. Advance tickets can be purchased at the track website in advance at no extra charge. All pit passes are $30.

Quick Notes For The "Race Fan's Dream" Event At Cowtown Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 26:
-Pit Gates open at 3, Grandstands open at 4, Hot Laps at 5:30, Races at 6pm sharp
-Both advance tickets and reserved-seat tickets can be purchased at the track website
-The current weather forecast shows 87 degrees, mostly sunny and an overnight low of 64.
-By clicking www.CowtownSpeedway.com you can then click on each picture on the homepage for details on each component of the night's events.

Friday Morning Updates:
-Although it did rain on Wednesday night, it will have no effect on the RACE FAN'S DREAM on Saturday night. The track is ready to go and the forecast is for sunny conditions and 85 at race time.
-This is also the final points race of 2009 season for the sprints, modifieds, limited modifieds, winged 600s, street stocks and bombers.
-And please help pass this message along to those that are unaware of the early start times of the event:
PIT GATES open at 3pm
GRANDSTANDS open at 4pm
HOT LAPS at 5:30pm
FIRST RACE at 6pm

RACE DAY UPDATE!
-Still no weather worries predicted, 84 degrees and sunny at 6pm race time, winds SW at 6mph (to your back).
-Reserved-seat tickets and general admission advance tickets are still both available at the track website until 4pm today.
-We could be approaching 200 cars in the pits tonight, so if you are a race team, please help us to help you by being on time tonight. Gates open at 3, hot laps at 5:30 and race time at 6 sharp. Grandstands open at 4.
It's going to be a beautiful night for the 9/11 Memorial presentation capped off with a professional FIREWORKS display, SPRINTS, LATE MODELS, MODIFIEDS, DWARFS, 600's, LTD MODS, SS, BOMBERS & all wrapped up with a big BANG, the final DEMO DERBY of the season; so don't miss out on all the wild action at the RACE FAN'S DREAM tonight at 6pm at the Fastest Li'l Dirt Track In Texas, Cowtown Speedway!
